Change the temperature twice and forget the app
The app is slow, tends to fall out of sync with the unit. Then when it works you change the temperature a couple times and the app tells you AC unit not connected! Give it 5 mins and it will reappear.

Had I known that Daikin used this app to control their mini split system, I wouldβve gone with a different mini split manufacturer. This app is absolute GARBAGE and deserves zero stars. I cannot express how much I hate it. If youβre considering mini splits, look elsewhere. Youβll be glad you did.
Unreliable, at best
Iβve had Daikin units before in other homes. Never had problems with reliability. Have two new units and the wifi module is the AirZone one and it is absolutely awful. Most of the time it says the unit is not connected. Never had this problem with my previous units. I donβt trust the app at all.
Just to many glitches
You would assume such a major player in the HVAC community would have an app that runs flawlessly. Well they donβt. Glitchiest app I use for my smart home. When it works it will for a quick 10 seconds then loses all the handlers as soon as you change a setting. Do better Dailin. I am about ready to trash all your thermostats and demand money back because of how they mesh with the app. Just a rookie product. Get a Honeywell or eco bee thermostat. Donβt let them install a Daikin smart thermostat. Just pure junk.

Worst AP EVER
I canβt believe my HVAC tech even told me to use this AP! Look at the rating- I havenβt been able to get my AP to work for days and Iβve done Every bit of trouble shooting they suggestβ¦β¦β¦. I will calling my HVAC tech this week to uninstall the software for this AP and install Honeywell that Iβve used on my homes for YEARS with Zero issues!
