Very Poor Experience with Dozzy App – Not Recommended
I had a very disappointing experience with the Dozzy app. I booked a farmhouse for a Saturday stay, but within three days the app canceled three different properties. Finally, they assigned another farmhouse at the last minute.
When we arrived, the property was in terrible condition:
The AC was not working.
The rooms were not clean.
There was no gas available for cooking.
The customer service team told us to either cook at home before coming or bring sticks/firewood and make our own arrangements.
The lighting in the house was very poor.
There was only one small refrigerator, and it was placed inside a room, making it very inconvenient for everyone.
The farmhouse did not match the description or expectations shown in the app. Because of these issues, we decided not to stay there. We canceled our stay immediately, returned home, and requested a refund.
Unfortunately, Dozzy refused to refund my ₹3,000 even though the property was not in proper condition and we did not use the farmhouse.
This was one of the worst booking experiences I have ever had. Multiple cancellations, poor property conditions, unhelpful customer service, and no refund. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking through this app.

Worst experience
I booked a farmhouse through Dozzy for 2 days and 2 nights and paid an advance amount of ₹5,350. Our group included 4 adults, 3 children, and an 8-month pregnant woman. The booking mentioned a check-in time of 12:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 PM.
However, when we arrived at the property at 2:00 PM on the check-in date, the previous guests were still there and had not checked out. To make matters worse, the property was in very poor condition. The swimming pool was full of fungus and looked nothing like the photos shown in the listing.
We had to wait for nearly 2 hours with our family, including the pregnant woman and children, in the hot weather. We contacted Dozzy customer support and requested either an immediate resolution or a change of property. They suggested another property only around 5:00 PM. Since half the day was already wasted, we requested a modification to reduce the stay to one day, but our request was denied.
Instead, Dozzy canceled the booking and refused to refund the advance amount. The customer support staff were extremely rude and simply told us to do whatever we wanted, as they would not provide any refund.

I have been cheated multiple times by dozzy app firstly they allow us to book as we like once the time for check in come when we call them and ask property owner number to enter they say its not available right now we will provide the alternative that to as per there choice even when the actual check in time is gone . U shud be on road searching other property which they gave options even they wont be available if u like anyone of them . U wont get ur booking amount back and staff behaviour is completely unprofessional n worst behaviour while talking . I kindly request do not install n book through this app again . No one should go through what i have been for last two times . Pls dont use this app

The staff were extremely helpful and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit.A special mention to the caretakers at the farmhouse they were very attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The booking process itself was highly problematic—after initiating payment, it remained in a “processing” state for over three hours, causing significant inconvenience. Upon finally receiving a confirmation, I was unexpectedly prompted to upload my Aadhaar details. However, after entering the required information, the only visible option was to cancel the booking, leaving me with no way to proceed.
This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I request immediate clarification on the issue, a resolution to complete my booking without further delays, and an explanation for the lack of responsive customer support.

Though we had some hiccups in the beginning, they responded really quick and they assigned an alternate location which was really kind and quick.
The experience was so damn good that we never thought about the initial hiccup’s. Well maintained house, clean pool, awesome atmosphere…… love to visit Saketavanam again and that will happen very soon….
