Disgraceful
A scam. Unforgivably bad. They made me pay for the at home testing device and then proceeded to literally ignore my messages in the app, just straight up ghosted me despite me politely asking for some reasonable assistance and support with device setup.

It’s very easy to get started and billed, but very difficult to get moved forward with any treatment. In my follow-up appointment after my sleep study I was told not to take any notes because it would all be sent to me. It’s been WEEKS and I’m still pulling teeth to try to get a copy of my results and a prescription to move forward with any sort of treatment. Ironically the billing department is fully staffed and works quite well. There’s no way to submit feature requests on the app or call anyone. You’re left to send messages into the void and *hope* someone eventually responds to you. Don’t believe all the positive reviews on Reddit.

Once they refer you to a cpap supplier that calls and texts and emails you 2x a day forever you’ll never see them gain. The supplier is super shady and just seems like a front for a bunch of other companies. I now have 5 different accounts at different places they keep telling me to make accounts at and I can’t get a tube replaced. Whole thing is just a funnel to milk my insurance, which covered everything but lol once they’ve got you in the pipeline, you’re dead to them.

Bait and Switch, Beware
During my intake consultation I was told and shown that my insurance was full coving all aspects of my sleep study. I completed both consultations, the actual study, and was given a prescription for a device. Fortunately I have been a bit slow to fill the prescription because today I got an email with a link to pay a bill from Dreem. I had not taken other’s negative reviews of Dreem seriously until today. Completely deceptive practices.

Malfunctioning App
Tho app does not allow me to access my sleep study information. Also, still have not received the prescription and information on how to fill after discussing my care options following my study. Disappointing.
PDF stopped opening after the update
I updated the app and I can no longer access the pdfs in my messages. Please fix.
Scam
This place is a total scam! I will be reporting them to the better business bureau and drawing up all the appropriate documentation for my lawyer just in case they do send my INCORRECT bill to collects. What a racquet!
Happy
I felt the process was easy and appreciate the ease of how everything works - zoom calls and in app messages to reorder. Tests were quick, spent plenty of time going over results, and I always get my supplies quickly when ordered. Not scammy at all.
Find another option
I would discourage anyone from using this company. There is no follow up for care. Months went by after my initial appointment and I never received the sleep study referral the provider said she would order. Then they canceled my follow up appointment.
Pick a different company
They were not upfront with their costs. They gave me a quote and I ended up paying nearly $100 over what they quoted me, and this was through in network insurance. Stay far away.
Not a Diagnostic Test
I took the results from my sleep study that Dreem Health did to my primary care physician and he basically threw them out and said they are not a diagnostic test, which Dreem Health didn’t verbally disclose. So now I have a referral from my PCP to get an overnight sleep study done. I wasted $300 (it turned out it to be almost twice as expensive as Dreem Health quoted me) on a test that’s not even a diagnostic test. Should have saved that money and just went to my doctor. They also referred me to another company to get a CPAP machine that called and texted TWICE A DAY for weeks to try and get me to “complete a profile”. It felt scammy.

5-star. The Team addressed all ins prior to apts. easy to use connections for zoom apts- and I can’t download my pictures- anyone can do this! I did baseline testing and two follow ups after adjustments to get me where I needed to be
Not a scam
Not sure why other people had bad experiences but you can always verify insurance yourself with your insurance company. It worked perfectly for me. It would apply to your deductible. I actually paid nothing out of pocket and I’m all set up with the help I needed.
Fills a void
I’m surprised to see all the negative reviews (most of which are about insurance). As someone with a disability, going to doctors all the time is exhausting and finding this was a godsend to get me through an easy sleep trial at home and a CPAP machine delivered to my home. Pulmonologists and Sleep specialists are incredibly expensive and there are hoops to jump through with every part of getting sleep apnea treatment. Misinformation
Dreem’s insurance check on their website said that they take BCBS AZ but when it came time for my appointments, they said they didn’t take it and I had to pay out of pocket. Take your care elsewhere.
Listen to the Reviews
They’ll approve your insurance at first and the day of your appointment they’ll tell you you’re not approved. They charge $150 for a cancellation fee. You’re screwed either way. It’s a scam.
Seems like a scam - STAY AWAY
They were recommended to me by my insurance, only to find out they don’t accept my insurance after the $150 consultation fee. They obviously know the racket they are running as it’s also a $150 cancellation fee. The person checking my insurance for Dreem told me my insurance doesn’t cover virtual visits which is odd as I had one the day before and multiple times outside of this one. Live and learn, I got smoked for $150.
