Shipt can do better

Shipt needs to do better. They are decreasing regular pay I notice a lot. $30 for 27 mile orders with 40 items is ridiculous. Not sure how companies can do that, but we live on tips. No tips and this job would be a scam.

No offers anymore. You can do Shipt for 3+ years have hundreds of preferreds and still won’t get any orders. They over hire and hire anyone. They discriminate against people based off of their race and gender. Every order is handled and the pay keeps dropping. Shipt has turned into a poor man’s wannabe instacart. Terrible! Follow up-their response is invalid they 150% discriminate against shoppers of certain races and genders.

I absolutely love shipt!

I absolutely love shipt it is very convenient for me as I’m a single father of 6 this is my second source of income is what I go to whenever I need some extra cash. You set your schedule to whatever you want to be and get to choice how far you drive the only thing I dislike is how shoppers work so hard to have their star rate up and off one lower star feedback. It drops your points by a lot without truly looking into the situation, kind of makes you feel like even when the customer is wrong they are right other than that I truly am enjoying it thanks

My biggest complaint is that we do not receive information or feedback when a customer rates us less than a 5. Most of the time our rating forgiveness is denied and AGAIN no reason given. It’s very frustrating for a shopper, especially a seasoned shopper who has been around for over 6 years and over 9000 orders. We should have a right to know what we did to receive the low rating.

I love Shipt I have been doing it for years and it really makes a difference in my life

Worst Work Experience

I worked with Shipt as a driver back in 2024 and it was the worst discrimination experience I ever went through. I was doing deliveries for almost 3 months with no problem. Customers were giving me great reviews and tipping me very good. Then all of a sudden they deactivated my account for a bogus claim that I was "allegedly violated" guidelines. I was making very good money and some delays in my deliveries were caused by holiday traffic (in NY) which is horrible. I'm also a type 1 diabetic and many times I had to stop to get something to eat because my sugar level dropped very low. I explained this to them and they very rudely and unprofessionally refused my appeal. I heard from other shoppers they do this to shoppers who start making too much money which of course is "illegal". Their customer service of course are in 3rd world countries so they don't know the reality of traffic and expect to do every single delivery in under 10-15 minutes which is unrealistic. Don't waste your time with this crooked, thieves. Do Instacart or Door Dash instead. SHIPT JUST SUCKS!!!!!!!!

Customer service is trash

The app starts off great then when you start making too much money they start hiding orders. Also customer service is no help. EVERYONE is unprofessional and dont do their job properly.!!

Illegal activity

They are allowing customers to steal tips back after you have completed your order. Once a contract is accepted. It is required to be paid for the amount you accepted it. DoorDash has already been sued for this, and they will be sued as well.

I like shopping its fun easy and easy extra income/. The only down fall at time there’s very minimal work. Being a shopper for four years plus shipt should take that into account.

I only had my account for a month and I was late on a total of four orders due to bad weather and they closed my account. My rating wasn’t even low they just closed my account and won’t let me reopen. They also have a long waitlist I wanted like six months to get approved just to only get to use the app for a month.

Great way to earn on your own schedule

Been shopping with Shipt for a while now and the app makes it easy. Orders are clear, navigation is solid, and I like that I can work when I want. Payouts are consistent and support is responsive when I need it.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT

I created a account with shipt as I was in my on boarding phase I was kicked off the app attempted to reach out to support through email and calling they all say the same thing and no one can help me I’ve never had such a terrible experience with any other shopper app than I have with this one shame on them.

Deactivation of my account because I asked for my pop 22 adjustment

I am extremely disappointed with Shipt. My shopper account was deactivated because they claimed I took too long to shop. The reality is that many Target stores keep a large number of items locked behind security cases, which causes unavoidable delays. I explained this multiple times, but no one took the time to listen or investigate.

I consistently maintained excellent customer ratings and always did my best to provide great service. Instead of considering the circumstances or my performance history, Shipt simply deactivated my account and then stopped responding to my messages.

It’s very unfair that shoppers can lose their source of income without a meaningful review or a chance to explain what actually happened. I expected better communication and support from a company that relies on its shoppers.

If you’re considering working for Shipt, be aware that even if you have great ratings and work hard, your account can be deactivated without a fair review or proper communication.
