Terrible service
They will change your pickup times without notifying you and expect you to show up or you get dinged as a no show and are given points. Some of the drivers swerve all over the road and make me question if they actually have a driver licence.
Not User Friendly
Every booking process is a roulette round to see if your late-night pickup from the GO station falls at a time that works best for the system. No matter how on-the-dot you schedule it, It will always default to a time that’s to too early for you and mark you as a no-show regardless. Even omitting that: there’s no way to contact your driver to alert the about where they can find you, where you are, or why they can’t see you. The service is ultimately unreliable when you need it the most and DRT needs should honestly fill this gap with more Overnight Bus Routes.

Unreliable… you’ll never get a time you request and all the rides are based on when it works best for them

Usually this service is reliable and can get me where I need to be when buses are not running. The issue I have is with the system itself- you are dinged by a points system based on cancellations and apparent no shows. If you have an emergency and have to cancel 4 hours before your trip? There’s a couple points. Driver comes early and marks you as a no show? Points. I’ve even had a ride cancelled on me by staff and had to frantically rebook before I got off work to get home safely. Anytime I cancel a ride well before the pickup time (days in advance) i’m given a petty message telling me to be considerate about showing up for rides as if i don’t take one every night. Recently there’s been a “technical error” message when I try to book. How do we get to work when the app punishes us for daily life happenings? Ridiculous.

Updates Screwed Up Features
After the app updated, I can no longer cancel or make any edits to scheduled specialized rides with the app. Very inconvenient!
Terrible Service DISCLAIMER
Don’t move to a new area with the promise that this service exists. You will never get to where you want to on time. I scheduled a pick up for 1:40 and the car came at 2:20. On top of that the car came and tried to leave immediately as a no show. Only way to get around is by purchasing a vehicle or move to a developed area

Unreliable Service That Has Made Commuting Difficult
Unfortunately, this app has proven to be quite unreliable. My family recently moved to an area without access to public transportation, and the nearest bus stop is about a 20–25 minute walk away. I was encouraged to use this app as an alternative, but the experience has been frustrating.
There have been multiple occasions where I’ve finished work late at night, only to have drivers cancel on me last minute. Sometimes, the drivers were just a couple of blocks away, but they canceled before I could reach the car. Other times, the app simply wouldn’t work—it wouldn’t connect me with a driver at all.
Even when I try to book a ride in advance, it doesn’t always follow through. Unfortunately, since Durham’s public transit system isn’t very reliable either, I often have no choice but to depend on this app. As a result, I’ve been late to class, late to work, and have gotten home very late at night—all because I couldn’t rely on this service.

So ridiculous.
I’m grateful if I even get a ride when there is no bus but you provide a ride at 10.30 and 11.20 from bowmanville And my shift finishes at 10.40. I first have to wait for 40 minutes in cold for ride and you drop me by 11.30-40 and then you want me to get a bus from there at 12.10. How is this any helpful? And specially in cold? Really! At least have more frequent services if u only want to connect us to busses then direct dropping as before. And you come early and cancel ride in 2 minutes. Why!

Most unreliable transportation service ever. Why do I have to connect to a bus in a completely different town (which would take over an hour) to get to my destination which is only normally a 15 minute drive away. Why can’t they just pick me up at my house and, yknow, just bring me right to my destination like they always used to instead of making it so convoluted and inconvenient? Really annoying.

App is such a downgrade versus the last drt app. App is slow, buggy, and does not work for booking. Always says the app is busy try later. Why not do something to fix it?

Honest review
I am working in restaurant and living in Scarborough.Sometimes I have to close and so I always try to book DRT. But they always show high demand and once I finally got booked but as soon as I checked at the time of departure I couldn’t find my ride. Because they canceled it without notifying me. Driver always force passenger to pay for ride even if they’re in trouble or pay few cents less. They literally stopped entire bus and did not move till they pay full or leave. First try to give good service then expect same from the passengers.

Horrible app
Right now the screen is frozen. Again. Have to call on the phone and wait sometimes up to half an hour on hold to get an agent. There is a huge demand for this service after they cancelled our buses. Why not get the technology right?!?

Now the app itself does indeed do what it said out to do. Despite it’s slow interface, it’s tolerable in my opinion. However, the issues I can’t look past is the scheduling of rides. When booked, sometimes the drivers come in WAY earlier than the expected time, to which itself is fine. My issue is the fact the app does not alert you when it comes in early. It only alerts you 10 minutes as opposed to 20 minutes early. Why can’t they let you know at both times, 10 or 20 minutes early? It really gets on my nerves, especially when the rides gets canceled because you didn’t show up within 7 minutes of them showing up.
Also, the app should stay on to-date when all rides have been booked instead of “technical issues”. At the very least you’re able to book a ride by a day early, but still.

Pretty bad app
Despite the pre-existing negative reviews of this app, out of desperation I downloaded in hopes it would actually be good. However, it’s slow and certain interfaces are hard to navigate due to the poor performance.
This app has genuine issues that can be easily solved with the proper revisions. Hopefully it gets better since it’s overall useful for many people like myself trying to navigate the transit system.
