This update is about not doing it alone. You can now add friends. And set a goal together. See each other's profiles, choose 7 or 30 alcohol-free days, and send a word of encouragement when one of you needs it. Nothing more complicated than that. Just knowing someone else is doing the same thing. Your profile now has a Dryno Ranger of your own. Hair, clothes, shoes. Yours to decide. And Dryno Hop, a new game at Basecamp. Hold to launch, drag left and right to bounce from ledge to ledge, and pick up fruit on the way to your best score.

It’s a great concept and honestly would be a helpful tool, but $40 a month is bananas! Kind of a shame to be honest.

Hi, I’m the solo developer behind Drynosaur. Just to clarify for anyone reading, the weekly option is there for people who only want to use the app short term. The yearly subscription, which most people choose, costs significantly less and includes a free trial. Drynosaur has no ads and does not sell user data, so subscriptions support its ongoing development, pixel art, writing, and maintenance. Gareth

Helped me get sober

I was having a problem with multiple different substances and vices for years. I'd occasionally having a couple months kinda clean from just white knuckling. I found this app randomly on instagram & instantly downloaded it. It helped immensely for the first two weeks then I started going to NA to continue to support my recovery. I'm currently living in sober living (which I love!), have an amazing group of sober friends and almost at 5 months clean. I just got a second drynosaur in the game that I'm specifically going to use for my adult entertainment addiction that I want to kick. I never leave reviews for anything, but this app was the catalyst that changed my life immensely. The differences are day and night!! I can't recommend this enough & I tell all my friends wanting to get sober about this app:) Thank you, Gareth!!
