Outage map inconsistemt
Sometimes there are chilies showing the outage area and sometimes not. Sometimes when you zoom in one disappears

Doesn’t work
Keep getting a can’t connect to server message just started happening these last few months
App issue
For the past three months the app is not loading and will not allow me to pay the bill online now I must call to pay over the phone. I have uninstalled and reloaded the app.
I hate DTE
They wanna keep going u pretty soon I’m gonna have to get rid of my protection plan completely had to down grade it for the extra payments on the payment fees
This is awful app.
I have spent 2 days trying to pay my DTE bill on this awful app. And still I am going to have to call( which is so annoying) to pay it from my checking account. I am a senior citizen and have no issue paying my other bills on line. Come on DTE get it together and make this simple( again ) .indesided to no longer. Use a credit card but have not been able to just pay my account without a fee. That’s crazy….. boo, boo,boo on this app. Should take less than 2 minutes not 2 days ……Suzanne. Spitsbergen

Not sure what is going on at DTE but cannot log in to my account via this all and on the website for almost a month. Bill will be due soon but can’t log in to pay. What happened?! Used to be a good app that worked every time you opened it
App not working
App never works. It stays with the loading symbol and never loads. I think it’s a gimmick to make customers use the online website to where you have to pay the 2.99 fee. Get it together DTE.
Can’t access my app!’
I can’t access my account through the app to make payments. It just keeps buffering and it’s not my internet issue either. Called and found out it made 2 payments where the agent deleted one for me. On a low fixed income and that would have hurt me had I not called! Bad enough you want to keep increasing rates to cover your destructive to our environment data centers!

Good luck paying your bill on time
The app is nearly worthless for paying your bill. Most of the time I can’t log in and get an error message. So I’m forced to keep going back and trying to get in. The power outage map is fantastic, as long as you can log into your account

Awful…exactly what you expect from DTE Energy
It’s a bad app. Little functionality. What is there doesn’t work most of the time. Inaccurate details, crashes. I don’t think outage reports go anywhere. Fees, fees, fees, so many fees. Did I mention all the fees? This is an expensive app to use. I mean, they are supposed to be a public utility but they just grab money.

Can't Report An Outage
Gotta' love it. Woke up to all the UPS units in my house singing the song of their people and tried to report an outage, but can't.

Had to drop the protection plan
Can’t pay split bills they charge you every time Dte wrong they already to high now they want you to pay in order to pay them with the fake post they don’t get the extra please it’s still the same payment process but I don’t need the $37 protection plan paying years , but never needed it it gots to go now yall think about it you only need furnace and hot water tank we need to save money to

New update is not good
I agree with chick 2025. Hit and miss as to when the app works. Paid my bill but got an email saying that I didn’t and it didn’t go thru my bank and trying to get back in to make sure it actually got paid this time and now can’t get into the app. Seems like I can get into the app on Mondays but not on the weekends. Makes no sense. Even tried getting in thru the email using the pay bill link and that didn’t work either. Worked great before this. I realize there are kinks with new updates and it will probably be fine but just letting you know it isn’t right now.

I been paying my mom’s electric bill since she has moved in…. With guest pay and now you guys want to charge a 2.99 for cards when I used to use ETF bank for free without needing her login info….. Billion dollar company and needs 2.99……. Greedy Company
Mobile app needs help
Last update has glitches.
I can’t pay my online bill. I did and apparently app didn’t send to bank on file. Then called and told it’s all good. If so why did I get email saying bill not paid. Tried today n now app is having problems per DTE. Ya think!!!! Can’t pay by phone now app messed up. Can you fix it quickly since ur last updated messed something up.

Overcharging people!
Energy monopoly
DTE has an energy monopoly in SE Michigan and uses that to constantly pursue rate hikes. Most recently, DTE applied for a new rate hike just days after a previous one was approved.
We need publicly owned utilities! DTEs CEO continues to rake in record breaking compensation packages while we are footing the bill. This money should go into infrastructure upgrades and back into the pockets of the community instead of to a CEO for another yacht.
