About

I built Eatzly because I spent years logging food in apps that got the basics wrong. I started tracking my food in 2011 with Excel spreadsheets after a bad IBS episode made me realize I needed to take my health seriously. In 2015 I switched to MyFitnessPal because it seemed easier. It was, for a while. Then the problems started piling up. The food database was full of errors. A soup listed as "per 100g" was actually per 600g container. Saturated fat higher than total fat. Calories that didn't match the macros. I'd find a good entry for cold chicken, use it regularly, then it would vanish and I'd have to hunt through fifteen near-identical duplicates to find another one that was actually right. I was spending time logging data that was wrong. What's the point of that? On top of the data problems, the app kept dragging me through blogs and ads when all I wanted was my diary. Constant update prompts. Features I never asked for. It felt like the app was working against me. I also have IBS-D. Had it on and off for over 20 years. No mainstream food tracker lets you log IBS incidents properly alongside your meals. The IBS-specific apps have no nutrition tracking at all. I was stuck using multiple apps and still learning nothing about my triggers. So I built the app I actually needed. ACCURATE DATA YOU CONTROL Every food in Eatzly is verified by you. You scan the label and the app captures everything: calories, macros, micros, ingredients, barcode. If the numbers don't add up, you get a prompt to double-check. No crowd-sourced guesswork. No junk entries. Your data is right because you control it. YOUR FOODS, ALWAYS FINDABLE Your regular foods stay where you can find them. My Foods, favorites, dishes. I eat roughly 200 foods regularly and I got tired of searching for them every time. IBS AND SYMPTOM TRACKING Log IBS incidents with tags, severity, and timing. Food entries are timestamped down to the minute, not just the meal. This matters because IBS reactions are often delayed by a day or more. If you only look at your last meal before symptoms hit, you're almost certainly blaming the wrong food. I did that for years. The app also flags ingredients in your foods that are known higher-risk for IBS. PATTERN DISCOVERY Eatzly looks for patterns between your nutrition, symptoms, sleep, and activity. Not generic advice from a textbook. Real correlations from your own data. Your data is also fully exportable, so you can combine it with Apple Health data or give it to whatever AI tool you want. REPORTS THAT SHOW YOU SOMETHING Weekly, monthly, and yearly views. Calories by meal. Macros and micros against your goals. Trends over time. WHAT YOU CAN TRACK Calories, protein, carbs, fat, sugar, saturated fat, fiber, salt, water. Micronutrients from scanned labels. IBS incidents with tags, timing, severity. Weight and body composition. Activity. Custom health markers. NO NOISE No social feeds. No blogs inside the app. No recipe recommendations. No ads. No gamification beyond a simple logging streak. The app is lean and efficient: log your food, check your data, get on with your day. WHO THIS IS FOR If you've been logging food for a while and you're frustrated with bad data, bloated apps, or trackers that never teach you anything about your body. If you're managing IBS and you want to find your triggers instead of guessing. If you care about building an accurate, long-term health dataset. 30-day free trial. No credit card needed.
