Unusable

They must not want feedback on the city… the app isn’t compatible to my relatively new device!

Latest update breaks compatibility with iOS < 26

The latest *required* version breaks compatibility with all versions of iOS under 26, including 16, 17, and 18 which are all actively supported by Apple.

App team: go back and fix your system requirements in Xcode. This is junior level dev work, and you’re failing at it.

App Upgrade

No update available when you go to App Store

Can’t update

If you don’t have iso 26 you can’t use the app any more, completely pointless app now

Doesn’t appear to be used by the city….

Reported a huge broken tree thru the app as recommended by the 311 operator I spoke to over the phone the last time I needed to report something similar, but days later nothing has been responded to. Phoned it in and they say there is no record despite giving the number assigned thru the app. Total waste? Not happy about sharing contact info with who knows who…

Unusable app

Great, keeps asking for a phone number, that I’ve added already, still doesn’t see it. Junk app that can’t be used, Great Update.

App upgrade

Upgrade doesn’t work. Can use it. Even deleted the old one and downloaded new. No change.

iOS 26 now what ?!?? Why ?!??

So now I need a new phone because someone in charge cheaped out paying the programmers to keep iOS 16 compatibility going ??! WTF

BS Update / iOS 26?!?!

iOS 26 required? Why not iOS 18 for older devices?

Options

Nice to have a place to report issues when 311 is closed or when I don’t have time to make that call. I love the ability to add pictures because sometimes the picture says everything that words can’t. I love that it has GPS so that people can see the location if I’m having difficulty finding an address. Is there room for improvement, always. But for now this does the job.

Broken app

Unable to submit app is broken

What is this?

The app is so bad. Are we paying are taxes on this app

Can’t submit issue

This app is not letting me submit a complaint and says “update failed and forbidden”. This is just as useless as our city staff and council. Waste of money.

Barely Works

Was told by a 311 phone operator to use this instead and to submit with a picture. The request closes out every time you add a photo. Not the first problem I’ve had with this app and I doubt it’ll be the last.

It just doesn’t work

I have to go onto the website to report things which is much harder to use because there’s no option to tag your current location. The app just doesn’t work.

Whiners be whining

I will say it’s worthwhile being literate when you submit a complaint. Check the details and make sure they’re accurate before you hit send. The GPS is not pinpoint accurate and sometimes choosing the right complaint category is a little annoying. So … 4 stars, the interface could be easier.

Having said that, we’ve submitted complaints for broken sidewalks, overgrown weeds, and abandoned vehicles and they’ve all been responded to effectively.

Awful app

This app is actual crap. It doesn’t read the location of my home properly so I’m forced to type my residential address in my complaint and then the complaint goes public for everyone to see. Not to mention bylaw officers never take action on time. It takes them 3-5 days to respond to my tickets so of course a vehicle will gone by then. The app is useless and so is the city.

Crashes

Frequently crashes and closes the app when I open it.

Terrible

This is a terrible app. I really hate writing this because the app has great potential but the implementation is terrible. Here’s an example:

There’s a massive pothole on a neighbourhood street. I want to use the app to report it and get it fixed. First, it’s not possible for a user to see if this issue has already been reported. You can o my see “recent” reports. It’s not clear how recent a report must be to be visible in the app. So I check recent reports, see no indication the pothole is reported, and now take the time to document and submit a report about the pothole.

The city does look at these reports. I know this because the status of my report changed. A couple days after reporting, my submission changes to “closed” because a duplicate report exists. Would have been nice to know this before reporting! Would also have been nice if they would link your report which they are closing to the original report! Now it’s impossible for me to track what, if anything, has been done.

It’s been two months now. The pothole is still there. This isn’t some small pothole easily avoided it covers half the entire street. After two months the city has done nothing. So I’m sorry to say that while this app has potential, the implementation is terrible and it seems like the city will just do nothing about potholes anyways.

Please add an edit feature

It would be helpful if I could modify the requests I send. Another idea would be to allow the user to preview their post before it gets submitted into the system.
