Why need an app at all?
These EV charging apps drive me wild. Just let me tap a card. Can do it for fossil fuel, why not for electrons? Just took 15 minutes to set the blasted thing up to charge. Hate it when technology is harder to use and less efficient than old school.
Unbelievable how difficult it is to register
Reading reviews suggests that once you’ve registered it’s fine, only problem is as a first time user, it takes your card details charges you a dollar but at no point allows to set a password. But guess what? You can’t login without one! So you try “forgot password” and it says it will email you to reset, but that email never arrives! Been sitting here half an hour so far trying to register and have now given up and driving to somewhere that actually works.

Standing at the station, registered, charged a dollar to activate my account and told email would come to the. Click and create my password for the new account so I can actually start charging…
20 mins later still no email and can’t activate to charge.
Useless. Sick of different apps for these various providers, stick with Chargefox or Evie.
