What's New in Elation Passport for Patients

10.0.1

June 25, 2026

Patient Passport has a new look and new features. Your existing login still works. You do not need to create a new account. What's new: • Setting up your account takes less than two minutes. Once you're signed in, you can use Face ID or Touch ID instead of typing a password each time • A simpler home screen with your appointments, messages, and health records • See all your upcoming and past appointments in one place. Depending on your provider's settings, you may also be able to cancel an upcoming appointment • Access more than one patient chart with a single login. Your provider's office must set this up for you • Choose your preferred language. English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Tagalog, and Vietnamese are supported • See a list of all your past visit summaries and read the details of each one • View and download your health summary, medications, allergies, and vaccines. Records your provider shares with you, such as lab results or forms, are also here • Download and print your immunization history as a standalone document • Attach files to messages you send to your care team, such as photos or forms. Depending on your provider's settings, you may also be able to start a new message • Update your password, email address, and phone number from Account Settings • Update your preferred name, pronouns, gender identity, contact information, and emergency contact. Your legal name, date of birth, and sex at birth can only be updated by your provider's office (edited)

Bad for business

This app meets barest of requirements for health tech. It seems like something that was developed years ago by first year engineers & never revised. It is terribly slow to load and does not have a place to access labs or records. If all you want is messaging and a place to hold your patient profile, this is it. Who doesn’t want access to labs and records? UX is important-I am considering leaving my Dr because this app makes communications and managing my care so difficult.

Horrible

Not seamless. App is NOT the same as Elation website - it does not allow for multiple providers.

Poor functionality

Doesn’t allow for downloading lab reports or other documents. Tried the pdf file section but even that doesn’t work. I wish my doctor didn’t use this.

Almost useless

Much of the data from the website doesn’t show up in this app. It’s basically only good for messaging, booking appts, or checking your emergency contact info. Appt history isn’t available, diagnosis aren’t available, prescriptions aren’t available, essentially none of your profile info is available on the app. Also, my password manager seemed to render the login page unusable, as once the login info was automatically entered, the page “collapsed” into a thin line without a login button.
This is seriously one of the worst apps I’ve ever used.
