Elavon cost me my business…
I started a new company.
I opened a business bank account. I was told that Elavon was the payment processor that the bank utilized for business transactions. I had previously vetted my clients and had those clients awaiting the remote payment processing link to be provided. Elavon refused to provide the payment processing link my potential clients were awaiting. Elavon cost me business and my clients. The damage to those business relationships are irreparable. Elavon cost me my business. Protect yourself and yours from suffering a similar outcome.

Can’t Login
I haven’t been able to use the mobile app because of how frustrating it is to even try to login. I create a username and password through online banking and it’s instructed to use the same credentials when logging into the Elavon Mobile app. Once I punched those credentials inside the yellow on mobile app it tells me that the login is wrong and so I create a new password several times to try to get in. However, every time I change the password through the Elavon Mobile app. It also changes my password through the online banking app. I noticed that the password criteria required for the app includes a special character versus the online banking that does not and I think that’s what’s messing up with the communication between the two. If I can’t even login, I’m not going to use it.

Never been able to log in
Despite getting assistance, we couldn’t resolve the log in issue.
Not Recommended
At first, I used this a good bit until I got a chargeback and had to ask a consumer to reverse it. They still charge a fee for chargeback if you’re innocent. The loss prevention teams can cut you off and close your account at anytime randomly.
This app is AWFUL
It is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to log into this app. Username doesn’t work. Email doesn’t work. You click forgot password and type in your password, and then “can’t set it to prior password”. Then you enter that in and STILL DOESNT WORK. They send you a verification code for you to log in (so clearly my email is correct), and then it says error again. This app is awful, the platform is terrible. Just spend the $20 a month and use quick books

Log in Glitches every time!!
I got the Elavon service complimentary with my business bank account provider… it’s been nothing but frustrating headaches. It looks nice and all but it’s for a side hustle I don’t use often yet. Every time I need to log in to make an invoice, my log ins and usernames will NEVER take. I write everything down because of this app. Even when I go through the steps to recover and reset my passwords. I’ll write them down. Go to log in and it doesn’t take. Will wait even a business day or 2. Try again. Still no luck. Driving me absolutely nuts and ready to switch to a different platform like Quickbooks.

Stay AWAY THEY KEPT MY MONEY
So I tried for the first time and everything went fine I received the payment the next day on my bank account. Next time I used it I got paid for 220 dollars and they kept my money. I submit a report and they told me they decided to cancel my agreement and they no longer want to work with me? Like whaaat?

Frustrating to use the app
Whenever my customers pays me via card or invoice. Funds are not getting available immediately. Moreover app do not store any history of those transactions.

As a small business owner, I have found this company and its application extremely difficult to work with. I was referred to their services by my bank for credit card processing, but the experience has been consistently disappointing. Customer service has been unresponsive and unhelpful, and the requirements imposed on my business were, in my view, unrealistic and impractical for a small operation.
Having been in business since 1985, I have worked with many service providers, and this has been one of the most challenging experiences I have encountered. Based on my experience, I would advise other small business owners to carefully evaluate their options before engaging with this company.

I have loved using Elavon mobile for my
Small business. The fees are so low and it’s very user friendly. I get the money deposited into my account within a day or two. I have really liked the features! I love that I can send a digital receipt as well!

Simple but effective app. Has what you need and is easy to use.
Can no longer edit text properly
Until 2022, I could easily copy and paste text, and edit a catalog to make corrections or any changes.
Like any other App, it should have the “X” to completely revive a text line such as item name etc.
After an update somewhere in 2023, it cannot accept copy and paste such as clients email. They have to type the whole thing again just to send a receipt.
I can’t even copy and paste in the LOGIN. I have to put every single digit of a 32 character password!
You know what they said? After IOS 17, it’s no longer possible, when EVERY APP OUT THERE ALLOWS copy and paste and the X to single tap erase is there.
PLEASE FIX THIS ANNOYANCE!!

Garbage
This app seems like a scam. Very fishy stuff going on. First they approved everything and opened an account. On my first transaction, they held the funds, told me they were investigating for fraud and could hold the money for 90 days. The "investigator" got upset when I told her she could easily look me up on WA DOR website, threatened to hold the money indefinitely because "this call isn't going to be productive," and hung up on me. When I tried to contact someone above her pay grade, everyone was on vacation or unavailable for some reason. They did eventually release the funds after I provided my customer's information (which seems extremely weird/risky) and then called him and asked a barrage of questions. They also closed my account and told me my credit isn't good enough to process cards because I need to be able to cover any chargebacks. Definitely recommend using something else for CC processing.

It’s OK
I switched from gopayments to this because it’s what my bank suggested(cobalt) and honestly it’s just OK. Go pay was far more user-friendly in every aspect from automatically jumping to the next box when manually entering credit cards to easily finding all the information on a credit card charge and much more.
If gopayments hadn’t screwed me out of $250 on a charge back that I proved was a legitimate charge, the customer just didn’t wanna pay, I would 100% still be with gopayments.

Barely any details
The data that is available on this app to review your businesses sales is extremely low. You can’t retrieve any specific details, like ‘tips’ for example. Sometimes it doesn’t show me any sales, when I know they happen. Awful app and customer service.
Secure and User Friendly
I don’t know about some peoples comments…No funds have nothing to do with the app! lol. It’s a register, so no it won’t allow you to “paste”. What it IS is security against Data breaches, which Square has zero. I don’t want my customers to EVER call and say is “my card was scammed and your shop was the last place I used it”… FAR more important than “paste”

Terrible app for “Tap to Pay”
I used this app to accept 4 card payments for my small business. All customers were successfully charged, but I never received the funds. The app’s interface is outdated and clunky, with minimal transparency about payouts or batch settlements. Navigating settings is frustrating, and there’s zero clarity on where your money is. Absolutely unacceptable for a payment processor — avoid this app if you care about getting paid on time. THERE ARE BETTER APPS and SERVICES out there. This one is way too confusing and outdated. The engineers that built this have no understanding of UX. I would much rather use Square or Venmo.

Great Application
I have had any issues. I love the being apple to accept payments from iPhone. I would highly recommend this to any small business that wants the simple and easy way of accepting payments.
