Horrible Product, Terrible App, Awful Company
Runaway, don't walk! The product is a joke IMO. Customer service is close to non-existent it would seem. They agreed to take mine back but a month later, they haven't refunded me and now they're ignoring and blocking me.
App is horribly Inadequate
The app doesn’t actually control anything, it just walks you through an instruction as if you’ve never used the product and makes you watch a video every time. If you accidentally hit next after the 15 minutes, you have to back out and restart. Who developed this put absolutely no thought.
New update is bad — please revert
The app was ok before, but the latest update a few days ago both buries the most interesting info from sleep sessions way down the page and also just doesn’t work.
The UI designers seem to think that the most important thing is now how long my “streak” is, rather than the actual sleep data. Also, for them, my “morning check in” journal entry is the second most important thing. They feel the third most important thing is some AI slop summary of my sleep session. The _actual_ data I want to see first, the sleep stage graph, is now the 8th thing. The stage breakdown is now 9th.
Please fix the UI by at the very least making the order of data user configurable rather than stroking the UX designers ego.
Also, had no problems syncing sessions prior to the update, but after update it either has no memory of recent sessions or displays an “error fetching data” dialog on the most recent day.

Phenomenal results
I’m exceptionally pleased with the headband, the app, and the performance. I did contact the company even before I had received the headband to make sure I could return it, I was that skeptical.. The data this app provides is really really useful and has revolutionized not only my sleep, but also my attitude towards it. No longer am I an anxious, trying to choose between which sleep aid, with a chemical, herbal, OTC or prescription I am going to be taking, because last night didn’t work.

Actually works!
Bought an Elemind after seeing they offered 30 days to try it, not really expecting much. I do shift work so sleep can get all messed up. It did seem to help over 5 days, not a miracle cure all but thought it was making a difference… So I loaned it to my dad for a second test. He’s in his 80s with cancer so sleep has been a problem for him. Well, he kept wanting to use it til I just bought another this week. Magically he went from very broken sleep that was almost entirely light sleep with just 1-3 minutes of deep sleep and maybe 15 min REM per night the first week to consistently getting about an hour deep and 1h45m REM per night now that he’s about a month into it. Now that I have one again I’m hoping my sleep sees that kind of improvement too!

I would say I’ve gotten negative value out of this product, extremely disappointed with the cost and functionality, I do not recommend.
Difficulty with Android Experience & over ear connection
I had a hard time with almost every step of the process from downloading the firmware and being able to start a session on the second try. Getting the over the ear segments to match was also challenging.
Game changer for sleep
Retired veteran. Couldn’t sleep for years. Fall asleep with elemind now nightly with no issues.

Terrible product
I bought a secondhand Elemind headband, transferred it to my account, and paid for their membership. The device never tracked or recorded any data—not once. Weeks of support “troubleshooting” brought nothing but delays and repeated promises that their lead engineer was looking into it, with no results.
They eventually admitted they couldn’t fix it and offered me a refund… then took it back, saying their policy doesn’t cover secondhand purchases. The lack of functionality had nothing to do with it being secondhand—it simply never worked.
If you’re considering buying Elemind—especially used—don’t. Unless you enjoy paying for high-tech headbands that function as very expensive decor.

A solution that works
I have never slept better in my life. 2 am wake ups were the norm. Sometimes I’d eventually fall back asleep, often I wouldn’t. Now I sleep through the night. If I wake, it’s only a minute or two before I’m back asleep. My search is over for a sleep solution, this is it.

This device will help put you to sleep and track you sleep all night. If you wake up at 3AM it will put you back to sleep. In the near future will help with N3 sleep or deep sleep. More accurate than Fitbit.
Great tool for insomnia
I’ve been using this device for a couple months now, both to fall asleep, but more critically to get back to sleep when I wake in the middle of the night. It’s fantastic as a gentle nudge back into unconsciousness without the “hangover” of sleep medication. Great product
Very disappointed
Received as gift. Can't use app without using the purchasers email address which requires them to check to give me a code to complete registration.
App is expensive since it does nothing it says it will do. Everything is “coming soon”.
The static is so loud you barely hear the rain. Very distracting.

Game changer for sleep
This device has honestly been a small miracle for me. Haven’t been able to sleep in years until this device entered my life. Thank you elemind.
Clunky App
The app gives me no confidence in the product at all. No helpful data, no assurance that the headband is “learning.” Essentially the app is just a big button to start the device and stop it. That’s it. Needs improvement ASAP
Basically useless, possibly a scam
It’s a new app that hasn’t been updated in over 3 months. The app screenshots are fake. It has none of the features that they advertise. It DOES NOT give you a sleep score, nor does it tell you your sleep efficiency, or amount of time spent in different sleep stages. The headband (supposedly) has EEG leads, yet the app can’t tell you anything about your sleep. It makes me wonder, if the app is this bad, do the sounds the headband makes do anything? Is there any AI under the hood at all, or is it all a scam?

None of functions work yet
Interesting premise and device but all of the app functions other than the most basic — including sleep reporting — still show as “under development.” Reserving final judgment until everything is fully online.
