Things to consider before selecting Elephant Insurance
They are closed on the Weekends. I was trying to get a Loaner Car this weekend and they had a System Maintenance scheduled on a Saturday all day long. I was NOT able to get help from a live representative or able to access to my IDCard!! What would you do if you get pulled over and unable to pull up your Insurance information? because these idiots scheduled a all day long System Maintenance! We drive everyday, we should be able to access to our own Vehicle Insurance IDCard anytime!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

Shutting down
App tells me to update, but App Store doesn’t tell me it needs one. It says functioning will improve if I update. It continues to shut down.
Won't log in
Used to work but now it gets stuck on logging in. Switching insurance anyways so I guess it won't matter much longer.

Unable to save insurance card to Wallet. The app crashes every time I try.

Don’t trust them because we never had a claim but they jacked up our rates to over $7000.
Can’t add ID cards to Wallet
For 2 months now I have been trying to add my ID cards to the wallet app on my phone. The app gives an option for it, but every time I click it it crashes the app and logs me out. They have done at least 2 updates since then and NONE has fixed the issue. They barely update the app or address issues and nobody can respond to help solve the issue. Don’t offer a feature if you can’t use it.

I can’t even open the app. It keeps crashing every time I attempt to open it. Meanwhile, my account is supposedly paperless.

This company has treated me so well. Their rates are amazing, and their tools are super helpful. I’ve been using this new app and I can’t tell you how easy it was to update my coverage, I can even see the new documents right away. Thank you!

A Beautiful Insurance App?
I’m quite impressed with the design quality of this app. It’s doesn’t have too many bells and whistles right now, but it easily does everything required of an insurance app, and I can tell they have big plans. Just check out that login transition. I’m glad they finally got an app. Their website has improved so much during the time I’ve been a customer, so I can only imagine what they’ll be able to do with an app!

Great functionality and great interface
I’ve been with Elephant for 7 years now and this app is everything I expected from the already high-level of service and quality I get from Elephant. I love how easy it is to access my ID cards and save them offline, plus managing my payment preferences is super easy! I’ve only had to make a vehicle change once so far, but the process in the app was super smooth and fast. This app saves me so much time by quickly doing things myself instead of having to call in and speak to someone. You literally can’t beat adding a new vehicle to your insurance in under 5 minutes! The app gets a 5/5 from this happy Elephant customer!
