I wouldn’t recommend!! I paid for my insurance renewal and it took two weeks before they insured my vehicles… never again

I am formally disputing the current status of my Ocho account and demanding immediate correction of the inaccurate delinquent reporting associated with this account.
I obtained coverage solely for the purpose of transporting my vehicle to a port and loading it onto a vessel. My requested coverage period was January 14–16.
On January 15, after my vehicle had already left, I contacted Ocho customer service by phone and clearly requested that my policy be canceled effective that date. During that communication, I specifically asked whether there would be any fees, penalties, or additional charges for canceling early. I was informed that there would be no additional fees because I had already paid the required $129 initial payment.
I relied on the information provided by Ocho’s representative and reasonably expected my cancellation request to be processed. Had I been informed that additional payments would continue or that my account would remain active, I would have taken immediate action. Instead, I was provided inaccurate information and my account was not properly canceled.
I have since discovered that Ocho has reported multiple past-due payments on my credit report. This reporting is inaccurate and has negatively impacted my credit profile.
I have made multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly with Ocho through both phone and chat support. During these interactions, I was repeatedly advised that a supervisor would contact me once my account was corrected. Despite these assurances, I have not received any written confirmation, phone call, or resolution regarding the correction of my account.
I have also been advised that previous representatives allegedly did not document my cancellation request in my account. However, the absence of internal notes does not change the fact that I contacted Ocho on January 15, requested cancellation, and relied on the information provided by your representative. Ocho is responsible for maintaining accurate account records and ensuring that customer requests are properly handled.
Most recently, I spoke with Fernanda, Supervisor (Agent ID: 15c09518). Unfortunately, my concerns were not resolved, and I was not provided with a clear resolution or timeline for correcting the inaccurate reporting.
At this point, I am not requesting another open-ended investigation. I am demanding immediate correction of my account as follows:
Cancel my policy effective January 15, the date I originally requested cancellation.
Remove any charges, balances, or fees assessed after January 15.
Correct and retract any inaccurate past-due reporting submitted to consumer reporting agencies as a result of this error.
Ensure my account no longer reflects delinquent status related to charges that should not have existed.
Provide written confirmation that these corrections have been completed.
If this matter is not fully resolved within seven (7) calendar days of receipt of this notice, I will proceed with legal action against Ocho to seek any available remedies related to the improper handling of my account, failure to process my cancellation request, and the resulting inaccurate credit reporting.
I will also file complaints with the appropriate consumer protection and regulatory agencies, including the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and applicable insurance regulatory authorities.
I have made every reasonable effort to resolve this matter directly with Ocho. I now expect prompt corrective action and written confirmation that my account has been properly canceled effective January 15 and that all inaccurate delinquency reporting has been corrected.
Do not go with this company.

Take your business elsewhere
Nothing that was offered through this company was more affordable or cheaper than anything offered by others elsewhere. I got quotes from local places for $1300 foot 6 months, and this app gave me quotes for $599 down and total cost up to $5000, for the same coverage. Not only that, but it was asking me to include/exclude cars and people who have never lived at my address.
Update: Based on their response, they claim that the prices seen came straight from the companies that offer them. As I already stated, I got offers from other brokers, as well as from many of the companies in question directly for much less. These were confirmed rates using my exact information — just as this broker claims to do. So not only was this broker’s response a lie, but it is also a clear representation of predatory practices.
