Dropped policy

Bad customer service . I have been out of town and my wallet was stolen . No phone call to me letting me know about sending in payment . I just received my new credit card in mail sure to lost/stolen card policy . They are charging me 15.00 lapse in coverage and a reinstatement fee .
Poor poor customer service as this was my only cc that I hold .
