No response to support request

UPDATE: when you email the address they provide (below) it sends you to an immediate automated response. This is an endless unhelpful loop. Awful awful service wish I hadn’t tried it.
Original review: I did the free trial and really liked it; planned on subscribing. Got a prompt to sign up for Lifetime at the end of my trial, so I did. I cancelled my subscription since I got the Lifetime but was charged for both! I wrote to support via various channels and got zero response. Regretting ever engaging with this app which is a shame because it’s really good- but not worth being double charged. Be warned.

Scam & Fraud

Like hundreds of other reviews here I was scammed by this app. It advertises a free trial but instead charges you for a whole year. The devs will respond to the review and say email us so we can help you but when you email them they reply and say there’s nothing they can do because it’s up to Apple. When you try to refund through Apple for the scam it gets rejected. Somehow Apple unknowingly are helping them scam iOS users and even labeling them as “Editors Choice”, but if you look at all the most recent reviews they are all complaining about this scam.

Edit: Case in point look at the response below by the developer.
Then I proceeded to email them AGAIN. They told me there’s nothing they can do and directed me back to Apple. This is daylight robbery.

Too Expensive

Great product but way too expensive given the free content now available elsewhere. Would love to see them come down by half…

Misleading

Dont download . They charge even after uninstall /cancel after l checked out the app and decided too pricey and did not want . Then today my credit card was hit and you only talk to BOTS ! Tank of gas wasted !

Deeply Soothing

Soothing and somehow not overstimulating when I’m overstimulated. I bought sleep headphones to go with it.

It works

It works. It helps you with stress to relax to wind down and go to sleep thanks ENDEL I will always be a fan

Ads, even though I’ve paid!

I want to love this app and recommend it to everyone, but I can’t.

I pay for Premium, yet every time I open the app I’m greeted with a full-screen ad that blocks me from doing anything until I close it. I’ve contacted support about it, but nothing has changed.

Why pay for Premium if the experience is still dominated by ads? A weekly promotion or even a banner ad would be much less intrusive (and there are already banner ads).

I’m leaving this review in the hope that someone on the team sees it. I’d switch to another app today if I could find one that didn’t bombard paying customers with full-screen ads.

Wrong songs and click bait

Shows them playing songs on the ads on instagram and then you can’t access the same songs. I guess you have to pay for it. No thanks. It’s click bait

app has nice UI but poor sound design and scam practices

all sleeping noise are unusable due to harsh crossover transitions every period of time. even white noise doesn't work well as it gets interrupted by noise transitions with poor crossover every hour or so, which will wake you up...

on top of that, once you're subscribed for a year, they still try to scam you by putting the lifetime subscription in a sneaky way in the middle of the screen everytime you open the app, until you click ok by mistake and loose 120£ ..

Don’t work

Downloaded the app but it never actually turned on. Just took up space on my memory. Fix this and I’ll try again

Premium still has ads

I do not recommend paying for this app because if you get a subscription they still spam you with full-screen ads for “lifetime” membership each time you open the app. The free functionality is capped at ~10 minute focus sessions. The concept is interesting and helpful for focus, but the full screen ad completely ruins the focus experience, as someone with ADHD that ad is an unacceptable paper-cut and I regret buying the year of “premium.”

Besides the full-screen ad, there is ALWAYS an ad for lifetime or merch at the top 1/3 of the home page. The developers are so obsessed with a money grab they couldn’t imagine removing the ads even if you pay.

You are not showing your best deals, you are doing fraud by still showing ads when you advertise that premium eliminates ads. False advertising and fraud.

Great App, But the Constant Upselling Is Too Much

Great app great beats but the constant up- selling of longer subscriptions or lifetime deals is overkill and it hurts the overall experience

Do not use.

Charged without permission. Could not delete 7 day trial.

Scam.

Can’t cancel trial via the App Store because it ‘can’t connect.’ Then when you go to the Helpdesk you have to verify your email each time and no matter how many times you do it, the message gets rejected. Avoid taking a trial at all costs.

Not to mention, you can find the equivalent of all these sounds on whatever music streaming service you use.

Look elsewhere

You need to cancel apple support to cancel your subscription.

Way too pricey for what it offers - very little variation.

It’s good, just not good enough to separate it

It is a very good app, but it’s remained more or less the same for a while: piano sounds and calm landscapes come across as cliched and camp after a while because every single calmness app uses them, and it’s become the standard. I work with synthesizers daily, I find droning and metallic sounds calm. It would be great and new to implement tweak-able perimeters that implement those timbres as well

Love the solution, hate the sales push (I pay yearly)

Every single time I want to use the app, there’s a sales pitch I need to go through, and I already pay yearly. Come on!!

Busy app with too much advertising with paid version

Purchased to access the Solfeggio tones but can’t locate them even after paying subscription. The interface is too busy and spammed with advertising even after payment.

Not for me but I didn’t get a choice

I saw the ads like everyone else. I decided to do the trial. I did not enjoy the user interface. I found it too busy and too complicated, and yet the offerings too simple. I couldn’t find what they were advertising. I have other apps with focus and sleep sounds, that are cheaper. I tried a couple of different things to see if it had some value to me but I decided to end the trial. Except I couldn’t find a way to do that and I was charged for a year subscription. It seems like a predatory practice to lure you in with something in an ad, not deliver, and then make it difficult to cancel the trial. So far no response from the developer.
