Fire your app developers and get a refund
This app is the worst. It continually re-routes you to websites that crash, crashes or times out when you attempt to do anything (I.e. adding dependents), horrible UI, etc. I hate it and it makes me want to die every time I use it.
Use case for how an App can make you angry
I just want to find a doctor that my plan accepts. The app is useless and points you to the web which repeatedly crashes. When you try to use the regular blue shield app you cannot. I can’t believe this is an actual consumer facing product. Dreadful!

Absolutely the most useless and frustrating app I’ve ever used. Will not allow connection to my benefits, ID card, or anything I’m supposed to be able to access from this app which means I have zero digital access to what was promised by using this app. Pointless garbage!!!
Could have been an email
Just send me an email with a PDF of my card and a link to all of my benefits and it would be much less frustrating and functional than this worthless app.
Terrible app
It doesn’t work. Crashes. There was nothing wrong with the Blue Shield app. Now I can’t use it. And now there’s no usable app. Garbage.
Works great for me
I haven’t seen the problems or issues reported in other reviews. I like that this app consolidates information In one place, it is faster than going to multiple websites.
Why is this necessary?
A totally useless app that complicates access to health insurance info that was formerly available directly from my providers app which is no no longer accessible. Very frustrating.
Worse than terrible, useless
The worse app I have installed on my phone ever, no kidding. Everything you do it takes you to an external page! Why having an app for that? USELESS. And it does not work at all, I tried to invite mu wife and the email never goes.

Worst app design, the program is a joke as well. Emails say a reward is available but the app does not allow to open in. Cruel and unusual punishment by my employer on this one
worst UX/UI ever
This app looks like it was designed by undergraduate students in a lower-division user design course. I’m serious, I’ve seen literal intro to app coding UX look better than this. If everything you click is going to take you to an external webpage, why even have the app? Totally non-functional.
Cool Technology from an insurer
I was asked and downloaded this app from my employer. Had the BlueShield app before and that was good too. I used to have a lot of different apps for vision and our pharmacy (why cant we just have one carrier) but this lets have access to all in one spot which is nice. Why I put 5 stars is that we had mental health issues during covid and I only found out that we had Ginger for mental health because it was already the app. I dont work on a comupter, so it was nice to see what my benefits are from one spot.

Absolute Garbage
This app is terrible. Blue Shield app is great but this is like the opposite. It’s garbage. So angry I have to use this app.
Slow & Not Fully Integrated
Unable to do anything (check benefits/claims/find provider) within the app, it only sends you to an outside link through your web browser. The Blue Shield app was much more user friendly, but I am unable to use now that my employer signed up for EngagementPoint. Even if I try to log directly into blue shield on my iPhone’s web browser it states “We are sorry, you may not access this page in this manner. Please use the EngagementPoint navigation for this page.” What is the point if the app is just going to take twice as long to redirect me back to their website...
Also tried to log into Blue Shield on PC; I am directed to use EngagementPoint.com but the website on my computer takes even longer than the app on my phone. Very frustrating.
