Almost there
For our son’s needs, we don’t yet feel like it has “learned” his seizure markers. When I look at the log, it shows a long span of monitoring in which his heart rate went from low to high, but it does not pinpoint where his heart rate spiked indicating a seizure or seizure cluster.
Good but…
Would really be better If this app could just run in the background at all times… I can’t possibly know when I need to turn it on or off. Uses a lot of battery. Fall detection is so-so.
It didn’t work
It didn’t detect the seizure at all and it was a big shaking while sleep
Great Tool
This app has provided some level of peace of mind that I never thought we would have. It has always alerted us to our son’s tonic clonic seizures, whether he is asleep or awake while seizing.
This has saved my sister’s life
My sister has epilepsy, and this app has saved her life so many times. It alerts and you are able to time seizures straight from the app which helps if the paramedics ask for those kind of details. Thank you EpiCentr for keeping my sister safe even when I’m not there.
False alerts
I'm constantly getting false alerts when my child is walking around. Now it's not catching seizures

Too many false alarms
I see it’s always right when you have a seizure I say which is good, but it’s always wrong when it says you fell down, I get alarms from that just from moving my hand quickly and when I actually do fall, it doesn’t work just stays quiet it makes family worried give a lot of false alerts

This is the best app ever. I have epilepsy and it has caught every seizure I have had
Nice concept
It’s a nice concept, but not very effective. It registers falls and seizures that aren’t real when I’m at work and drop my hand too fast, or lose internet, but not when I actually fell to the floor convulsing in front of my son.
Nope
Bought an Apple Watch specifically for this app then paid the £100 for a subscription. It says you’ve had a fall when you haven’t over the tiniest drop in height. If you’re walking it doesn’t connect properly so when a false alarm goes off you can’t cancel it so has your whole family worrying. Not good at all tried to cancel a week after buying it and was told no refund. Terrible app not in anyway helpful for someone who has epilepsy

Worth it!
I am newly diagnosed with epilepsy and sleeping alone for the first few times were daunting. To have emergency contacts that not only get texted, but called when a seizure is detected is pretty amazing! And, I really appreciate the medication reminders too! Only downfall now is for people without Apple Watches. I know they are working on this compatibility for androids. Hopefully soon it’ll expand to more people out there!

Very good, provides reassurance as it will immediately notify family members if I’m in trouble day or night? but it does burn through the watch battery.
