Every single time I try to log in I get stuck in a two factor loop. It takes forever to sign in. Doesn’t matter how many times you click “remember me”. It will make you two factor every single time. Half of the time it redirects you to an EQ page in safari, away from the app you just downloaded. How does an online only bank have the worst app?

I’m somebody who’s late to the game and was very nervous about the whole virtual banking. But EQ Bank surpassed everything I expected. It’s so easy and very user friendly. Excellent customer service and you don’t have to wait long. And the interest you receive from all your account accounts is a nice added monthly bonus. I absolutely love EQ Bank.

FIX YOUR APP
Over a minute to “load the dashboard”. The only way to access MY money is through this garbage app that crashes 50% of the time. FIX IT
Broken login with passkey
This app seems to get worse and worse over time. I can no longer login with passkey. I get a few prompts to autofill my username and password which don’t work, then when I try to press login with passkey, the button no longer does anything

Constantly Improving
I find the app experience very smooth and constantly improving. I really like the pre-paid Mastercard as well. It took me a bit to warmup to the idea but now I constantly use my Mastercard as it is more convenient and I feel safer using it online. The billing function and e-transfers are always fast (much faster than the Canadian Red Bank) I have used the chat and have had my problems or questions resolved promptly, by a REAL human. Looking forward to see what more EQ brings. Keep up the great work!! 🙌

I love the high interest rates, the free e-Transfers, and how easy the platform is to use. I also really appreciate that they will transfer TFSAs and RRSPs from other financial institutions at no cost.

I’ve been trying to save money for a car and as a first year student this app has really helped me, I’ve always struggled with tapping into my saving habits but this bank is really good with having high interest and a 30 day to transfer which really makes you think before taking it out. It’s helped a lot and I’ll definitely continue to use it

Complicated and Not Intuitive
This is the most poorly laid out financial app I’ve ever used. Its not intuitive at all. It appears the developers are trying to fit too much information ℹ️. Come on EQ you can do much better.
