Not useful to diagnose connection problems
We are completely disappointed in all of our Eve devices. Motion sensors and light switches consistently stop communicating every few days. The app is no help all for diagnosing the problems. The only solution is to reset devices, clear every remnant out of every Apple device, and start over. At least once a week. Unreliable devices, unhelpful company… the app doesn’t really matter anymore.

Connection issues
I was hoping to be able to use this app to schedule my Eve garden sprinkler. However, that’s essentially impossible since it won’t connect to it.
Wrong Readings!
App doesn’t show the right reading that eve room shows! It’s right in the graph so why is it so hard to fix! Expensive devices! Certainly not worth it!
This app is terrible and confusing. Switches suck too
The app makes no sense. Not quite sure what you’re supposed to do with it. Very hard to use. Don’t even really know what the purpose of it is. It is not intuitive at all. Can’t read half of the names because they force you to use these stupid colors like red and blue and yellow. You can barely read them. Why can’t you just make it all one color. Stop with the stupid room types and pictures. I just want to read the damn thing! Try to edit and it only gives me that one color to choose from. Really stupid design. This entire app needs to be overhauled. The switches suck too. If you have LED lights do not buy these switches!! Turn one switch on, randomly others turn on. Not all the time, but they go crazy 75% of the time. Very disappointed with these switches and this app. Waste of money. Push some firmware updates and fix your switches! Fix this app too so we can not use your stupid colors and pictures for rooms! Slow for respond via Siri even with multiple HomePods and Apple TVs acting as hubs throughout the house “this so taking longer than expected”. I hear this every day! Whenever I try to turn on our office switch within this app, it either doesn’t work or it takes forever. Ridiculous.

Excellent application
I had a HomeKit automation issue. I was not able to add any new automation rules to my HomeKit. In the Apple Home no automations were visible. However the error message was the limit reached to add more automations. This Eve app was the only app that was able to show me the dead legacy automation rules. I had 150 rules. Zero on the Apple Home. Honestly this application saved me from a few days of work to rebuild my entire Apple Home system. Maximum respect for the Developers. It is brilliant.

Troublesome
This app took more than two hours to get working. Chatting with tech-support online then having a phone call with tech-support online.
Since it doesn’t connect to the Wi-Fi, it would only connect through my Apple TV. When I programmed a schedule, it doesn’t work because when I’m not watching my Apple TV, my Apple TV is off.
I feel like this was a total rip off and a waste of money.

Horrible app and company
The app rarely works well. Their smart accessories work even less reliably. It’s been a year now and my shades are still broken. Stay away from Eve!
Can’t add a device
Scanning the code on the device, it recognizes it as a light but fails to connect to it 3 inches away. It isn’t a matter of trying to activate new tech in 1995, get real. I have two BTW, same result.
The worst faulty hardware
Constant thread issues and no updates to fix it. Constantly buggy and doesn’t work

Schedule Stopped Working
I scheduled my Eve power supply in the app, and it worked well for a week. When I tried to edit the schedule, I couldn't do it. I also couldn't delete it or add a new schedule. After reading other reviews here, it seems I need to reset my device and start over. That doesn't seem like a good or sustainable solution and has made me rethink my opinion of Eve products. It feels very shortsighted.

Messed up my Thread network
I just wanted to see my thread network map, I don't have any Eve products– and after that, a bunch of my devices stopped responding! Things were perfectly fine and always have been until I connected the Eve app!
Unreliable
Stop working randomly for no reason. Just tired of constantly resetting
Frustrating
When Eve devices worked, they were great. But now that I’ve had them a year, they all give me trouble or have stopped working. I have door sensors & lights. So disappointing.

L'app fonctionne correctement, pas de bugs à déplorer mais pitié, j'espère qu'un que vous travaillez a une refonte complète... le design et la circulation dans l'app sent la naphtaline, elle donne vraiment pas envie d'être utilisée.
Doesn’t show the right readings!!
App doesn’t show the correct readings for eve degree! The correct readings are shown in the graph!! Recent updates haven’t resolved it! Still can’t hide the schedule for eve energy! Nice and colourful app but useless!! Devices are totally overpriced and dated!!
Add Accessory button does nothing.
macOS 26.2, Got the app. Opened it. The Add Accessory button is the only choice in the interface. Clicking it does nothing.
