Great App

I find this app amazing overall!
Only thing that bugs me a tad is if you need to during the session change an exercise for what ever reason……the new exercise selected doesnt use previous recorded data for the new exercise……the % isn’t set either, so you have to go out and see what your 1rm is and then calculate the 1rm with the % to get what weight is required for the set.
Other than that, to me great app!

Overall pretty solid

Been using this for over a year with my coach and the improvements have been pretty good overall. One thing I’d love is better integration with apple health and the Apple Watch. My watch starts with a workout sometimes, sometimes it doesn’t. Just today I ended a workout on my phone and the watch app kept running for another hour. Not a huge deal but annoying nonetheless when you are actually trying to pay attention to how many minutes you logged in your workouts. A rest time on the watch would make it more functional too. That’s all.

THIS APP SUCKS

This app sucks. Can’t even open another app without it stopping your workout completely

Best workout App

I love this app because it keeps my workouts consistent without me having to think about what I’m doing in the gym. I love how it tracks my reps and weights and monitors progression overtime.

Good but not Great yet

I have been using this app for 2 years now, and it is pretty useful and intuitive! There are, however, a lot of UX designs that annoy me with every use. One that seems like an easy fix is a button that allows you to “apply to all” sets. The calculator and the scrolling number entry systems are super annoying when i have to up the weight and rep for each and every set in my super sets. I would also like the ability to free enter my own exercise, as my gym has machines that the app doesnt have in their database. An apple home screen widget could be super fun as well. Otherwise, its easy to use and follow!

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback and recommendation! We’re glad the app supports your training on the go. We’ve shared your suggestions around muscle group diagrams and improving the logging experience (especially reps and set updates) with our product team. Appreciate you taking the time to share this!

TERRIBLE customer service, incompetent PO, average app

Impossible to change workout start time! So you either have to log workouts as you exercise, or you'll end up with invalid data.

I contacted their support few months ago, they said that they appreciate feedback, but the issue is still not fixed (after OVER A YEAR). Very annoying that such a trivial BUG is being ignored. They keep prioritising some meaningless gimmicks over the obviously flawed UX.

Clearly they don't care about their usera (despite those 'thank you for your feedback, your opinion matters to us' template responses)!

The only reason I use it is because it's free for me via my coach. Otherwise, I most certainly wouldn't have paid for this garbage.

We understand your frustration and appreciate you taking the time to let us know. We’ve passed this concern along to our team, and while we can’t guarantee an immediate update, please know that your feedback is heard. Improvements and fixes depend on several factors, including overall product priorities and technical considerations. Looks great but…

The app for workouts and logging them looks really good. But have tried to track food and it doesn’t let you enter a specific amount it seems to work off 100g and then lets you divide by quarters. Which is not accurate enough for me. Please help

Add Calorie tracker

Should add a calorie tracker so we can see if we are in a deficit or surplus when we log our food

Terrible user support

After one year of using this app, I found out that there is no way to download the information we, as users, have been logging. I requested help from the company and they said they have no way to access that information, which is totally ridiculous. They developed the app and they have the servers. There’s just no way what they said is true. My information is mine and I should be able to access it and keep it as well. I think this is just the way they raise their exit barrier so that you keep working with them

App always reloads mid-workout

This app reloads way too many times when leaving the screen. During a fast paced workout, this gets annoying very quick. I have to wait for the logo screen to load its animation, and then resume workout. Just painfully annoying

Some bugs in need of fixing

The general layout is good, but there's still some bugs to fix. Two examples: on the dumbbell goblet carry, the app seems to forget the last rest time and the last set. I finish 3/4 sets, and the app tells me I'm done. Also, when I scan in a barcode for a given food, the macros are sometimes off as well as the title. That's no biggie, since I can edit it. However, while it accepts the edit for that specific time being used, saving it doesn't save the edits. The food will appear in my saved items as the original (incorrect) scan. Ideally, it should save the edited version.

Response from developer

Thank you for your detailed feedback! We're sorry to hear you've run into these issues. Please contact our support team through the app or at support@everfit.io with more details about the affected workouts and foods you've scanned so we can investigate both issues further and help get them resolved.

request

Can you make it optional to have to click through so many additional pages after finishing a task? It gets tedious, especially if you have a lot of tasks. The celebration, self-assessment, etc. Becomes a deterrent to using. thank you! :)

Countdown pauses in the background

When you are using a countdown for a cardio session if you go to another app to watch tv on the treadmill etc the timer pauses which is really frustrating.

Slow and clunky

Could be so much better than it is. Not intuitive or that easy to use. Have to use it with my PT but find it frustrating!

Support

Deee is amazing and so helpful. I have been training for over 50 years (age 67) which shows in some of my old ideas on frequency and length of training sessions. Deee has helped to adjust a program that suits my age and abilities, made food and vitamin suggestions and continues to provide advice and support. This is not just ‘another training app’ it’s a program that’s sustainable, fun and testing! I have cancelled every other training program! Bill (Queensland, Australia)

Great app with one problem

Love the app but I have come across one problem. I am unable to edit a previous workout. I accidentally put in a wrong weight (forgot to put a dot in) and there isn’t a way to fix this on IOS.

Could be 5/5

If this is the #1 Fitness Intelligence app then it should be able to have a widget for the home page.

Hard to see any data when in a workout

App works decent. My biggest issues are that once you start a workout you can’t look at other workouts or much else for that matter. It matters when you have multiple workouts in the same day.

Chat has no is read feature which is a pain to know if you’re pt has seen your messages or not. No ability to edit or delete chats.

Macros tracking

Love that it has the scanner for labels but you can’t adjust measurements when you scan. Also you can’t adjust amounts after added to your log. Also you can’t go from oz to grams of using the scanner.

Great app !

Perfect for keeping myself accountable with nutrition, progress pics and a workout schedule !

My PT send everything on here and it works like a gem I love how it can link to my Apple Watch too
