If you’re unhappy with your membership, don’t cancel it right away. Cancel it the day before your month is up because if you cancel it, your membership immediately shuts off and does not allow you to use the perks for the remainder of the month that you paid for.

Complex charging system; the connection isn't working.Take a look at work in the other charger. I wouldn't advise anyone to use it for a Tesla.
Most unreliable and unusable network out there UPDATED: THEY RETALIATED
I have had an EVgo membership for over 2.5 years. 95% of my attempts to use their stations end in failure. This includes all available methods to activate the charger, including autocharge, RFID card, multiple credit cards, and the mobile app, and is consistent across all locations in their network. Support has been completely useless, and has tried to tell me that the problem is with me, my car, or my first party official adapter, which all seem to work completely fine at the literally hundreds of other charging stations I’ve tried in the two years and 52,000 miles that I’ve had my car. Never and I mean NEVER plan on relying on them.
UPDATE: they posted a nice reply here, meanwhile behind the scenes, THEY CLOSED MY ACCOUNT in retaliation for my complaints. Truly despicable.

Need improvement in Family plan
We recently signed up for a Family plan. We use different credit card for each person .
Each Time I use the charger i have to call the main member to switch it. Too inconvenience, I think there should be an option for member to switch payment card without going through the other member.

Charges even if you did not use it
This app charges your card even if you did not use the charging station. I have yet to see my refund. It keeps trying to charge my other cards on file. Would not recommend this app. Very frustrating.

Best Charging Stations But…
EVGO charging stations are the best but some of the stations and chargers need to be updated big time!!! Some chargers cut vehicle charging off at 80% which is a huge factor if you used your EV for work! The app is glitchy and needs a major update. Other than those issues EVGO is my go to charging provider!! They charge better, faster, and give more range than electrify America and Tesla chargers! Use EVGO if you want a fast charge and longer range! I would’ve gave 5 stars if the app wasn’t so glitchy. Needs to be updated monthly

First charge with EV go
I’ve used a few different charges in the last couple of years and this one was by far the easiest to connect and start charging. The display screen is large with clear instructions. and the speed of the charge is super fast I’ll be back!
Spam notifications
Deleted the app and my account after the third unsolicited promotional push notification despite turning off marketing and promotional notifications in the settings. Very rude.
