Lacking Support
I’ve been using the Evidation app for last 10 years, I love the health accountability, and the option for health programs that pertain to me. There is an option to get a monthly report in the “My Health” tab. I share those with my provider and she loves the data. On a few occasions they haven’t been available. I understand technology and this happens, when I reach out customer service has been responsive. This month I reached out and got an answer, tried the tips reached back or and it’s been crickets. I don’t know what has happened with customer support but it lacks SUPPORT. I know you are capable of better.

Redeem no longer working
Have been using this app for a while and have redeemed points multiple times. When I went to redeem this time it says phone number is invalid and to try again later. Have messaged support multiple times to no avail. Obviously they just want your information but not to follow with rewards anymore.

Scam
Took 3 months and hard work to get my steps in with this app only to come to try and redeem for a gift card and their system won’t allow it. Support was useless no matter what device I did it on. Based on the other reviews I see, lately they don’t seem to be honoring their word
Scam app
Used to redeem rewards couple times, but this time once I reached 10,000 points it magically doesn’t save my phone number right so I can’t redeem points . Contacting support didn’t help either. They collect your health data and don’t allow to redeem points just because they can! Don’t recommend! Avoid using the app.

Redeem function is broken
Tried to redeem my rewards last week and I keep getting an error message that they can’t send a verification code to the number associated with the account. I checked my account details but there’s no way to update the number. Contacted support twice and still waiting for them to fix this. You owe me $10 Evidation!!!

This app offers good opportunities to track health and learn about related to health that I otherwise may not know.
Fitbit
Fitbit had to switch to Google Health. Why I can’t import Google Health I don’t understand why I’ve had six months of stats that have not been uploaded.

Can’t redeem
I’m trying to redeem my points but their system is not allowing me to add my phone number. Every time I tried it adds a 0 to my area code and it’s all wrong. Without confirming my number I can’t redeem anything. I’ve tried contacting support and they haven’t reach out.
Easy
It’s an easy way to contribute data on real health behavior.
Can't access my account
I lost access to my email that is associated with my Evidation account. When trying to change to a new email address, it sends a verification to the email address I no longer have access to. Really needs to send a code via text for issues like this.
Used to love, but app changes made it hard to love
I used to love this app when Fitbit was Fitbit and actually connected with the app, but now that it changed to Google, it doesn’t connect anymore. Very frustrating
Doesn’t work
I have tried to sign up multiple times and I keep receiving unauthorized, must have a valid email I have tried to sign in using my Apple account, my Facebook account, multiple email addresses that I have, and none of them seem to work, which makes no sense.
Disappointing
Suddenly the “redeem” option stopped working. Contacted support multiple times. Have been a happy customer for years. Sad. Should be under the scam section now. :(
Emails never come through
Frustrated everything you have to get code sent to your email. I never receive code. Happens all the time.
Have to re-sync Apple Health
Apple Health consistently needs to be re-synced even though it’s still connected with all metrics enabled. Evidation takes a long time to track the Sleep and Exercise categories. And it is far less motivating to be capped at 40 points per day. I would like more points if I do more of something like exercise than usual.

Great App
I have been using Evidation for the past few years. It’s a great app that tracks health, fitness, and general wellness including mental health. Highly recommend.
Going Steadily Downhill
I’ve used this app since it’s Achievement days, and it was great! You could get various points for everything—movement, surveys, studies, weekly tips, daily mood tracking, etc. When it was rebranded as Evidation, everything remained pretty much the same. Then, bit by bit, one thing after another was changed, and it’s steadily disappointing. Surveys and tips that aren’t on a visible timetable disappear before you can complete them. Weekly tips stopped being worth points. Redeeming points is resulting in no rewards more and more often. Last but not least, customer service seems impossible to locate for issues. None of this seems right, and I’m starting to actually consider deleting my account as the incentives to continue as well as help for issues grows increasingly scant. I’d like to stay with it because I’ve enjoyed it for years, but it needs to be more worthwhile than this.
