Completely Busted

Every single time I attempt to charge it asks me to enter a payment method (which I already have done) and does not let me proceed to charge my car. I am TRYING to give you my money and being prevented from doing so. Absolutely unacceptable performance.

Trashola

No information on where charging stations are located or how to access them. The one I wanted to use appears to be someone’s house? Claiming it’s available at 4am?

Customer support never got back to me

My car stopped charging around 60%. I tried to contact customer service several times and they never got back to me. They say someone should get back to you in a few hours, but it’s been over a day and no response at all.

buggy mess after redesign

app hardly works feels so vibe coded.
i try to charge my car but it cancels randomly. the fees don’t cancel and i get charged for whole hold price instead of what i charged for. stupid app. i had to message customer support 3 times to get my credit back. on multiple occasions. never using this service again.

Easy charging at my apartment building

EVmatch has been great at my apartment building, app is easy to use and works well. Glad my building added EVmatch

Lost money + very pricy + doesn’t work consistently

I had a EV match station at the last apartments I lived at. When I moved I still had money preloaded in the account. (At the time it was not letting me pay without preloading money, I am not sure how it is right now.)

Anyway when I reached out to the support team, there was no reply in the beginning. After trying multiple times and getting hold of someone, I got a reply that they will help me figure out getting the money back. I have never heard from them since.

Additionally, the service is way more costly than its competitors such as charge point and powerflex.

And the app is horrible. It sometimes works and mostly does not. You have to try multiple times to get the session started.

Service is completely busted

This service is completely busted and barely works. Half the time I make a reservation, it immediately disappears from the app. However, it still exists somewhere in their system, and you can't have concurrent reservations, so you're effectively locked out of using their service until the ghost reservation ends. Additionally, the app constantly displays inconsistent information. When making reservations that span a day boundary, the app erroneously reports minuscule hold fees. When viewing my charging history, half the pages claim costs of $0.00 and 0kWh, and half of them show me the true value. Idle fees aren't calculated properly, so when my vehicle sits at full I'm still charged $0.00 in idle fees (though maybe they should keep this!) Even after charging stops, a useless "start charging" button remains on the interface that doesn't do anything at all.

Response from developer

Thank you for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We're sorry to hear you've experienced issues with reservations, charging history displays, fee calculations, and other parts of the app. The reservation issue you described, where a reservation disappears from the app but continues blocking new reservations, is particularly concerning. We understand how frustrating that would be when you're trying to secure a charging session. We've shared the issues you've highlighted with our product and engineering teams for review. While some of the items you mentioned may involve how information is displayed in the app, we agree that inconsistent or confusing information can significantly impact the user experience. We are aware you are in active communication with our support staff. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to improving the reliability and usability of the app.

Why taking money upfront?

Why need to buy credit I should be able to charge and billed on my credit card. Do you have a way to return it back?

Response from developer

We appreciate your valuable product feedback. It's very helpful as we continue improving the app so that drivers have a superior charging experience. If you would like a refund, please contact us at support@evmatch.com and we'd be happy to help.

Useless

Tried to charge at one of these stations and wasn’t able to after setting up an account - contact account host error. Use something else.

Garbage App

This app sucks.

Garbage app

This app shouldn’t have been allowed to be published to the App Store, it’s bad web app wrapper there’s basically no native features

Worse than no charger

I know this is site specific at times, but this app is designed for those who have no clue how to run a charger, to do so. The errors are cryptic, and the enelX chargers that aren’t really supported are garbage anyway. If I didn’t see a charger, I would have at least been able to not plan on charging.

Poor Customer Support

Can not get profile userid/pw set up. Stuck in a loop of not being able to sign in or reset password.

WORSE APP, WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE

The EV match system is absolutely disgusting. Horrible system. It allows people to use their charger and charge other people. Cool. It’s an interesting way to create your own little charging station and make some money off of it. But the problem is: the customer service is horrible. They never answer any of my questions, tried to contact them multiple times and always ignored, in addition, some places that has EV match charge RIDICULOUS amounts for charging. WAY MORE THAN TESLA SUPER CHARGERS. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER, HORRIBLE APP. Whoever sees EV MATCH, it’s an automatic red flag.

Very helpful

Customer service rep was helpful and it’s great to finally have chargers at my building

All kinda annoying problems

Hard to navigate. Then the charge station I rent is offline 20% of the time. Now asks me to scan a QR code that never exists. I am paying $150 a month for this dang parking spot.. and I cannot charge my car for 20% of the time. The customers service is very slow to revolve anything. I had to borrow my neighbor’s…. Or charge at super charge station…

Non functioning service

I downloaded this app because there is a charger a few blocks away from where I live. I have attempted to charge my car numerous times all unsuccessful. In addition, their customer support is very slow to respond(up to 5 days for a “live chat” response) and once told me the issue was resolved when in fact it still persisted. Avoid these chargers if at all possible.

Poor app responsiveness

app constantly has a white screen on launch

EDIT: on top of that, the chargers never work at my complex and i still get charged a host fee upon cancellation. Worst EV app ever made

Preloading < Pay per Use

We’re far enough along that pre paying should not be the only option

Bug Fixed

I had been disappointed in a previous version because my payments weren’t being debited and transferred to the EV charger owner.

That has since been fixed and I have seen that my payments did, indeed, get paid by the app.

As of now, I’m a very happy customer.
