Buggy
Useful but glitchy
Also, I would love it if there was someway to export a tab delineated / spreadsheet document of some kind for me to have a better view of my trends and symptoms, etc.
Very Impressed
Very bad app
Slow to fill in
Some bugs
No possibility to export data …
I do not recommend it, use Excel it is better
The Diet is great, app still needs work
But the app needs attention. Recently I haven’t been able to add any custom foods. When I go to add them they never save. This problem started in the past 6 months or so.
The food lists are pretty limited so being able to add custom foods is pretty important.
Maybe they should do a more community/user submitted database similar to my fitness pal..Where there is a more vast database of user submitted foods. Just an idea.
Unusable for tracking food
It can be 5 FP for one meal, and 0 FP for the next. I have no idea which one is accurate.
I tried emailing the company via the address provided in the app, but it bounced back as the email address is no longer operational.
I’ve never paid so much for a nearly unusable app. I say “nearly” because at least I can track my symptoms on the app.
Very frustrating to be unable to use it to track food.
Overall useful, but glitchy
In addition to having the glitches fixed, the app could definitely use some other practical updates as other users have pointed out, but the glitches are the main reason for the reduced stars in this review.

It didn't work for me
After 5 months of a strict <10Fp diet my LPR did not improve. I experimented with various low FP combinations for another 7 months to no avail.
Instead what yields improvement for me is a diet that speeds gastric transit. Doing anything I can to keep that system moving as quickly as possible reduces my symptoms better than anything else I've tried. I avoid starchy foods like rice and potatoes entirely, but I eat foods with fibre. I avoid grains, apart from white wheat flour products like crumpets and certain crackers, which are not a problem for me, which is contrary to the Fast Tract Diet's theoretical basis. Blueberries help a lot. Mashed chickpeas, blended celery are fine.
My diet is extremely limited. I can only eat about 5 foods without getting bad LPR which causes throat pain and debilitating hoarseness. To stay alive I supplement with vitamins and amino acids, which are my main protein source. It's not a healthy diet, but being unable to speak is the alternative and reflux-induced oesophageal cancer is a possibility if reflux goes on for too long.
The app itself is quite good for seeing the fibre, FP and carb content of a wide range of foods, though it's disappointing that in a year there has not been an update. It still doesn't provide important data like calories and protein content, meaning that to design a diet, other apps are required to be used at the same time, preferably on two phones so one can see the FP and macros together while choosing foods to add.
If the app alone doesn't help you, Norman recommends his consultation service. His website pushes that service fairly hard. Fair enough, that's how he makes a living. But he charges thousands of dollars for the consultations, and if you are like me and eating a low LP diet doesn't fix your reflux, that money will be wasted.
Good luck, everyone!
Riddled with bugs
Highly recommend
Great

Thanks for the review Sarah and happy you find the app useful.
Terrible App
Response from developer
The app does list shredded coconut. When you enter coconut, about 40 entries show up. One of them is coconut, unsweetened which is "shredded coconut". There is also an entry for coconut strips, a Trader Joe's product. I will change the description of coconut, unsweetened to "coconut, shredded, unsweetened". Hopefully that will make it easier for you to spot with your search. The FP food list contains over 1100 food items with corresponding FP values which are critical for people with GERD, IBS, SIBO, etc. As we continue to add foods based on newly available glycemic index values or close approximations, there are many people using the app to get off of drugs.
Somewhat helpful
Achat pour rien
App has many bugs
Also, for foods you’ve added yourself - they show up blank in a recipe, so you have to guess about what it was you added.
It’s also just cumbersome to begin with, so I wouldn’t recommend.
Limited use poor ui
