New user and unhappy with the app
I have not read the books which apparently this app and books have to be purchased before getting on the FB group. I don’t like that hard sell tactic so I have the app. Tracking food for specific days is inconsistent. When you put in custom foods i don’t see how to find the FP. It doesn’t list it. I have texted app support 3 times in 2 days. No response. It also shows citrus as 0FP and his video said to stay away from citrus. App has a lot of glitchy features and it’s difficult even to add your meals to track. I wish there were some type of instruction with the app so you don’t have to buy the books.

Buggy
I had hoped that many of the bugs were addressed, since many of the reviews are old. I just bought this, and I put in a custom recipe. The app changed my ingredients in the recipe. Argh! So I went to the support link which takes me to where I can make an appointment, not technical support. Who wants to enter each ingredient in a dish each time? Nice idea, but yeah, a spreadsheet is easier and accurate. Save your money. If tech folks fix this, I'm happy to change my review.

Useful but glitchy
If you are following a low fermentation potential diet, this is very helpful, but not perfect. When I create custom recipes, I will often look back at my recipes to find that oddly items have been swapped out. This happened multiple times so I ended up editing the recipe to list an entirely different ingredient and that seemed to fix it but it made my recipes inaccurate. Also, sometimes when I’m on a certain day, which I’ve double checked, I go to add a food, and it puts it on the previous day. Then I have to edit it, and it goes in the right place but there’s just a variety of glitchy things like this. A couple of times I’ve added “sucrose (table sugar)” to a recipe and looked later and it said “splenda.” of course, that could’ve been an error on my end but then I would redo it and come back and find the same weird glitch!
Also, I would love it if there was someway to export a tab delineated / spreadsheet document of some kind for me to have a better view of my trends and symptoms, etc.

Very Impressed
I have only been using it for a week and find it very easy to track the FP values of my food. I actually started the diet after reading Dr Robillard’s heartburn/LPR book two weeks ago. For years, I have had bloating, and more recently (two years) LPR. All doctors can say is use H2 blockers or PPIs. I made mistakes before downloading the app, because flipping from page to page on my iPad Kindle was a pain. The app is a necessity imo. Thank you, Dr Robillard, for your knowledge and for creating the app. One thing, please remove avocado from the vegetable category and place it with the fruits where it belongs.
