Needs definite improvement
I echo all the critiques of the other reviews but one thing I was hoping for that I’d really like to see is the videos of the workouts it sometimes takes of you stored here in the companion app so you can easily grab them to share.
Could be better
Let me start by saying I love FitXR. I’m a recent Supernatural refugee and have found the monthly challenges and rewards sooo motivating. The companion app however, feels very…limited. I would love to have more social aspects highlighted, see what my friends are up to in a feed which I loved about the supernatural app. Or at least be able to view the leaderboard. I would also like to see my profile and maybe personalize it a bit on the app? Thanks so much! Keep up the great work FitXr team and thank you for giving me refreshed motivation in my fitness journey!

The XR was the first app that I tried when we first got the Meta quest, but I immediately went to Supernatural and I played Supernatural the last three years but the last couple weeks I’ve been doing FedEx art because they canceled Supernatural so you can’t add new songs and stuff. I don’t know. I really like this app. I’m trying to say the only complaint that I have is that when you meet your goal you don’t get somebody telling you like good job or anything you have to go back and look in the app and make sure you completed your goal. I think you should fix it so that the last coach that you work with like comes up on your screen and says something about you reaching your goal and good job or something

Can’t enter code
Once downloaded, I get the code on the headset, but I cannot enter the numbers on the phone. Pressing the number pad does nothing. help!
Connected Apps Apple Health Broken
Just downloaded and synced app to FitXR on my VR headset. Wanted to connect the mobile app to my Apple health for tracking so went into the apps settings for connected apps. Choose Apple Health. Clicked on connect and nothing happens. No pop up. No sign in. No authorization. It’s like the button is unresponsive. Although the connect button works for Strava but I don’t use that. Please fix.

Doesn’t work
Hi, downloaded the app and it freezes in the code page so can’t use it. I’ve closed it, reopened and tried multiple times.
App fails
I am unable to pair the iPhone app with the headset. I go through the process of generating a code, and then I open the app, name the phone, and when I go to the screen where I enter the code, nothing is functional. I cannot enter anything with the keyboard. I cannot select the help button. I have to close the app out and try again.

Could be good
FitXR is a really fun workout. However, the mobile app frequently crashes, consistently needs repairing and has limited use. I prefer using the mobile app to browse the workouts ahead of time because I find it easier to read outside of VR, but the mobile app rarely works.
Won’t stay paired
Every time I open the app it makes me re-pair my phone to the headset. I don’t love the navigation on VR and prefer to search workouts ahead of time. I rarely can do it, because when I’m deciding workouts I don’t have the headset near me. Extremely inconvenient!When it does pair, it’s easy to navigate and plan workouts.

I'm really impressed by the new design and absolutely love the community mode! As someone who thrives on competition, this feature enhances the excitement and makes the experience even more enjoyable.
Pairing device impossible
The app does not allow for me to enter the numbers given by my VR to pair. There is no support to email on this app.
No support
I paid for a full year but my companion app shows “free membership” I contacted support and they replied once and then stopped. Don’t waste your money on this when Supernatural is available. They’ll take your money and not provide any support.

Amazing way to workout

FitXR is really good as it is, but this app sets it apart from the other VR fitness options. Being able to sync with Apple Health / Strava is great as it allows me to incorporate my workouts and calories burned into MyFitnessPal.
LOVE IT!!!
Love the fact that I can do this sitting down and well as standing and still get a pretty good workout. Easy to use. I just really enjoy it. Would like more hit songs though. And I’d love for the expert courses to be at least 20 minutes longs.
Glitches and poor customer support
I like the dance classes. Thats basically the only reason I stick around. I finished all of the beginner and moderate classes, saved the ones I liked which were very few but I wish there was an option to “hide” the ones I did not like. I have had a few glitches which affect my competitive score and support wants all the feedback so they can fix their bugs without providing some sort of discount towards the membership im paying. Im supposed to be their engineer without pay I guess. No thanks. Once I finish all of the advanced classes I’ll probably just find another app cause the advanced classes feel even easier than the beginner classes. Can’t even connect my stats to my iphone health app. Whatever.

Sunday Evening Workouts Don’t Count?
I like to workout on Sundays….I also like keeping my streaks going. Unfortunately, depending on what time I workout on a Sunday the class doesn’t count towards my streak. I have emailed support on this and have been ignored. Not cool, FitXR.

Have to repair with headset almost every time
About 70% of the time I go to load the app; it starts back at the “Begin” page and ask me to pair with my headset. Just a waste of time.
Cancel subscription
I can’t find a way to cancel my subscription. I’ve looked on the Quest, downloaded the companion app and looked on the Quest app. This should be easy. Making this so difficult makes me never want to use this again
