Just Flow into deep work.
If you want a genuinely useful focus timer, with a clean and unbloated tool to keep you locked into deep work, flow is the best option out there.

First of all thanks, it’s a great app. I’ve tried dozens of pomodoro timer apps and all of them were either much more complicated than a pomodoro timer needs to be, or almost totally behind a very expensive paywall. I really love this one, simple and clean, and also iCloud sync with my iPhone which is really useful.
Just one issue, I’ve been using this app for the past 5-6 months, at first it used to work just fine. Now it’s been around a month or so that it keeps closing unexpectedly. It only happens when it’s only in menu bar, having its window open prevents that. I mean it’s not a big problem but a little bit annoying.

Exactly what I needed
This app is simple and does exactly what I need from a pomodoro timer. I love that it's not too complex and that it doesn't hide it's most essential features behind a paywall.
Simple and Comprehensive
I've been using this app for a few weeks, and I have been checking off all of my daily goals since I started. I've tried other timers, trackers, and app blockers, but Flow is it. I love that the app syncs across all of my devices while blocking distractions on them too, so that I'm not tempted to break focus on any device I have. There is enough control in the settings, and the UI is smooth. I bought the lifetime membership because I know this will help me accomplish what I set out to do in the years to come.

Simple, beautiful battery life hog.
Love the calm simplicity and beautiful interface. Love the sounds. Love the focus. However, this app uses as much battery life as all my other apps, combined. Seems a very inefficient use of power for a timer. Best used on a device plugged into a wall outlet. It is murder on a cell phone battery.

A bit pricey but it’s simple and helps me stay productive. I hope it stays this way and doesn’t turn into bloated corporatized garbage over the years like so many of these types of apps do…

Please fix desync
Ill start the timer and a live activity starts but 20 minutes will pass and ill realise the actual timer hasn’t started at all
Review about the latest update
I don't like a separate tab for statistics; that is too much and it is distracting. I like the minimal version and I don't know why you guys change it. Please give an option to revert it back to the previous version. It is unnecessary. And I might uninstall this app. It's irritating.

Amazing!!! Because…..
I love this app, it helps me stay focused while doing work and studying. Great for any age. The timer is so simple so it won’t distract you and your able to keep track of when you had your last session, your able to personalise the length of time and the length of breaks. It is one of the top pomodoro timers I am have used 😊

Phenomenal App 10/10
The pomodoro technique has improved my study habits tremendously! I love the simplicity/functionality of the app. I quite like having the a widget for this app on my desktop to see my progress throughout the day, however, I’ve noticed that the widgets “freeze”. I’ve tried to relaunch the app, remove and add the widget, restart my laptop, however on the days it acts up - nothing seems to help. Please provide a solution for this :)

One of the best minimalistic apps i have used on app store, i am a minimalistic aesthetic person and also loves to track my time of what i do, this app is perfect if you are also looking for something like a pomodoro timer or u want to track ur activity sessions, really love it

The best of the bunch
Truly great and does what it says so well and without fuss. Easy to setup and has helped Mme improve my focus so much!
Easy to bypass
Great app, but my main issue is that on iPhone, Commitment Mode can be bypassed by force-closing the app, which immediately unlocks blocked apps. Competing apps like Opal do not seem to have this loophole. Flow currently feels like blocking depends on the app staying active, whereas Opal’s restrictions seem to remain in place even after the app is closed.
A second issue is break timing. If auto-start break is off, apps become available as soon as the focus timer ends, even before I press “Start Break.” That makes it easy to delay starting the break and effectively extend it. It would be much better if apps stayed blocked until the user actually presses “Start Break.”
If Flow added these two features, Flow would be even better.

Das minimalistische Design, der Commitment-Modus und der App-Blocker machen Flow zum besten Werkzeug, das ich für fokussiertes Arbeiten gefunden habe. Timer Sync zwischen Mac und iPhone funktioniert reibungslos – ein unterschätztes Feature, das im Alltag viel ausmacht.
Eine Schwäche sticht jedoch heraus: Es fehlen speicherbare Presets für vordefinierte Flow-Konfigurationen. Je nach Aufgabe – ob Videoschnitt, Konzeptarbeit oder Audio-MischunFlowstatehe ich unterschiedliche Intervalle, weil jede Arbeitsart einen anderen Anlauf benötigt, um in den Flowstate zu kommen. Kreative Problemlösung braucht schlicht länger als routinierte Ausführungsarbeit.
