Bad user experience
App signed me out, told me I couldn’t use Face ID to sign in even with the correct password because it thinks I didn’t have security questions set up, which I do. Gave me a 1-800 number to call even though I just wanted to check my balance. It should not be this difficult. Much better experiences with other banks.

Worst App Ever
There’s no way this app has a 4.8 rating. It’s the worst experience in online banking ever. I constantly get login error messages. It makes me want to refi my mortgage even at a higher rate to avoid the horrible tech experiences at FNB.
This app has become progressively worse
I choose FNB for their online banking and tech options. Unfortunately, they’ve become progressively worse over time. The app is always experiencing issues. The saved password is giving error messages at times, when other times it works. It will give connectivity error messages whenever there isn’t any (using both WiFi and data). Facial recognition hardly ever works anymore, and requires you to constantly set it up again. This is such a shame, because the app worked great for years. Time to switch banks!

Loan payment.
I made a payment for the loan and the next month it showed up on my bill that it wasn’t paid then they said I owed nine dollars and some odd cents. I don’t understand where this is coming from. I’m not happy.

Is it 2009?
You should be able to have a “Pay Bill” feature for an auto loan, linking your payment method of choice so you can pay your bill. Why? Because it’s 2026. But no, I needed to establish a whole new checking account with them, just so that I can establish a transfer from my personal bank in order to pay a bill. I will never recommend this bank to anybody

Everything about this bank and app are painful. The app doesn’t use facial recognition on my iPhone and since it constantly logs me out, I have to rely on a password generator. Cool, but my saved password doesn’t work. OK, I change my password and I still can’t log in.
The bank is no better. I visited a location to update my address after a move. They tell me they can’t do it; I have to go to the branch where I opened my account some 15 years earlier. As if that isn’t annoying enough, that branch closed, so now what? I’ve had some problems occasionally with mismatched addresses when buying stuff online with this card because of this policy. FNB is the bank equivalent of PennDOT.

Won’t read checks
Usually the app is pretty good, but on one check it is insisting the amount I entered does not match the check, which is NOT the case. I’ve tried rescanning three times with the same result. Now I have to take the check into a branch. I don’t have the time for this. For what I pay this bank in interest on my HELOC, I ought to have an app that is reliable.

I appreciate the ease to navigate the site. I just wish I could see pending payroll deposit amounts the day before. I also wish funds were made available each morning at 5am.
