STOP BLUETOOTH REQUEST

This God awful app most be the worst possible thing every developed after 2010; it’s a complete shame that a company like FS cannot hire a team that designs an app that would not ask for bluetooth connections *the whole time*. It’s absolutely unbearable and makes me delete and reinstall the app every time I stay at a FS hotel. You cannot keep this app on your phone or it will drive you crazy. You can deny all permissions, deactivate notifications, it won’t matter. There’s no escape.

Doesn’t work

App not up to four seasons standards. Entered last name and reservation number and it says can’t find it. I call resort and they confirmed reservation and suggested trying a different confirmation number that also didn’t work. Last thing I want to waste time with on a vacation at a wonderful resort is trying to work with a broken app.

Great travel app

Everything is easily searchable and right where it needs to be. Staff responds quickly (especially at the lanai location). Always a pleasure visiting four seasons resorts

Unable use

It shows my device jailbroken and refused to work, I know my iPhone model is quite old but it mustn’t jailbreak.

Just doesn’t work

The app didn’t recognize my confirmation number to create an account, so I went to create an account without adding my current itinerary. The text code never came through, so I gave up and deleted the app. I’ll hike to the lodge to ask my questions instead.

Annoying

Constantly throwing a pop up asking for access to Bluetooth, which I don’t want to grant. This happens even though the app is not open and hasn’t been used for months. I’m deleting the app.

Room service??

I can’t figure out how to order in-room dining even though the in-room dining menu directed me to download the app. It couldn’t find my reservation either.

Missing info

Dining reservations missing…hmmm…

Bluetooth pop up

Still haven’t removed the annoying Bluetooth pop up

Not Bad, but Could be Easily Improved

I like the app. But there are some easy/obvious features I’d assume would be natural features, but aren’t there. (1). It knows I have reservations, but if it shows me the actual details of those reservations (room types, beds, confirmations, etc.), I’m overlooking where. (2) There is a nice “itinerary” feature that lists things like check-in, car services, excursions. Great. But, it does not show resort restaurant reservations. I understand that, the restaurants are via a different system, so I’m not griping about that. But I think that the itinerary feature should at least let the guest manually add their own items — such as restraint reservations, beach time, etc. An incomplete itinerary is a pretty worthless thing. If the app allowed the guest to fill-in the other stuff manually, that would be a very useful improvement.

Amateurs

Apart from a subpar UX, the app repeatedly insists on Bluetooth permissions, even though the app is not running (even in the background), has no permissions at all, and is not indexed by Siri or Search. The request pops up at random intervals of days to weeks.
Developer says “it’s Apple’s fault”, yet no other app does this.
Deleted.

Shocker

Terrible app always crashes very frustrating

Rarely wkrks

The chat feature rarely works. I’ve deleted and re installed, then it stopped working again.

The App does not work

The opens and shuts down abruptly. I tried to delete it and reinstall it to no avail

Needs an account to get rates

In order to get rates app is now asking to set up an account. I removed the app and will book elsewhere

App not useful

It’s buggy and mostly marketing

Deleting app until they can iron out bugs

For starters stop making it keep asking me to turn on Bluetooth even when I’m not staying at one of your hotels.

Disappointing

Terrible App as it never automatically uploads your reservations and when you try to add a reservation to your itinerary it doesn’t recognise the confirmation number. Such a lost opportunity for such a great brand to drive engagement with their customers.

No iPad Version?

2 stars because there isn’t an iPad version available. Sure, the iPhone version of this app runs on a iPad but it’s tiny. Also, and perhaps most notably, what happened to the Press Reader? It’s gone.

New app is a downgrade

This was a great App that I’ve been using for pre stay communication and while at FS properties. The new App is glitchy and the videos playing in the navigation pages makes for a terrible experience. Such a downgraded App now. What a bummer. 😔
