No customer service
I’ve tried 4 chats on 2 different days and email today with only automated responses. No support. I have pre-booked for pickup at Dublin Airport (3x) scheduled at 10:30AM. It has changed the pickup time every time to 5:30AM. The App says to book at the pickup local time which I have done but it keeps changing the time. What’s going on. We are traveling US to Ireland in 2 days. I won’t be in the country at 5:30. We need a driver at 10:30. Can’t get any response from customer support. !!!!

Frustrating we booked with FreeNow for a price of 12.10 but driver charged us 21.00.
No driver showed up
One driver canceled. Other driver just sat for over 10 minutes and never cancelled or showed up.

Cancelled charge
Beware you're cancelled for calls even if the driver doesn't pick you up and tells you to cancel it.
Cancelation fee
After ordering a course and seeing the driver moving around and never getting any closer for 20min a 5 euro cancellation fee still applies to the button to cancel. Yes they will reimburse the fee but you don’t know when you click … So you don’t. Drivers are abusing this and Freenow does nothing to address the issue. The fee is by design, even after waiting 20min it shows up.

Horrible service. No pick up. Scam.
Worst drive ever. We were waiting for our taxi and they never came to the pickup spot. For the cherry on top, they never gave me the option to call or text the driver! Do not use this app. It is genuinely horrible.

Recently Über let me and colleagues down on a number of occasions by either dropping off mid-journey because fare was no longer attractive due to traffic or not responding to booking requests at all.

We were five minutes late when we get outdoor. I find the driver has gone to the airport. The app has no communication function. They charged me a full price. Be careful if you want to use this app.
Scam Rides
Twice in a row, a ride was coming and then refused to pick up the phone or drove right by me and started the ride anyways. There doesn’t appear to be any way in the app to report this.

Taxi drivers are aggressive and not always straightforward
We have taken 3 taxis so far that always starts the ride charge at 12-13 euros. When we ask why that’s the case the taxi driver got aggressive and tried to stop the car and leave us stranded in the middle of the road. Mind you, when we booked the ride, we were supposed to get the taxi within a minute. That’s why I booked the taxi in the first place. But the driver came after a 13 minute delay and yelled at us to get in. This is unprofessional and unacceptable service.

Drivers charges whatever they want
I had used Freenow before it was bought by Lyft. Somehow it’s worse. I wait 20 minutes when it said 5 minutes with priority. Also, the drivers are able to enter whatever price they want in Greece despite the meter price. Buyer beware! They have another app in Greece called taxi.gr. I’ll try that and delete this one.

Scammed in Napoli
I used Freenow for the first time to take a 10 minute ride. I checked with another popular ride share app and I got a quote for €17. I choose freenow because it offered to get a metered taxi which would be cheaper. Instead they sent me a taxi scam which charged me €33.
