The Best
The biggest difference is having a real coach who actually knows you, your goals, your schedule, and what equipment you have available. My workouts aren’t just some generic program pulled from a library they’re built around me and adjusted based on how I’m progressing, how I’m feeling, and what I have going on that week.
I also travel for work, and Future makes it incredibly easy to stay consistent. Whether I’m at home with all my equipment or in a hotel with a couple dumbbells and a treadmill, my coach can adjust my workout so there’s really no excuse to skip it.
The accountability has probably been the biggest game changer. Knowing that someone is paying attention to whether I’m getting my workouts done adds an entirely different level of motivation. At the same time, it doesn’t feel overbearing it feels like having someone in your corner who genuinely wants to see you succeed.
I’ve made significant progress since using Future, but more importantly, working out has become part of my routine instead of something I constantly have to convince myself to do.
If you’re someone who struggles with consistency, gets bored following generic programs, travels frequently, or just wants the structure and accountability of a personal trainer without having to meet someone at a gym every day, Future is absolutely worth it.
One of the best investments I’ve made in myself and my fitness.
Incredible workout platform !
Broke my neck and back in a mtn bike crash and thanks to my Future coach Merlee, have bounced back nicely. After six months of Future workouts and local PT I am feeling much stronger and back on the trails. Looking forward to more progress in my fitness journey! Great platform and app!!
Love it!

Amazing App, Bit Too Pricey
It’s not really accessible to those on a lower or fixed income, though. Once again, wellness is gate-kept by the well-off. If there were some kind of option to be able to use the interface without a trainer, I’d absolutely go for it. I don’t think it would keep people from using the human trainer aspect. There’s nothing that will beat that one-on-one custom-tailored training, workouts, and accountabili-buddy that they offer. Not even AI. The trainers are all well-vetted and know their stuff. Many have advanced degrees in their field and extremely extensive experience. All are completely human. For someone that can afford it, I’d say this is a better option than whatever your gym or any other app will offer you.
For those that can’t afford it, I’d love to see Future have at least access to the workout environment. It doesn’t have to be AI. Maybe there could be some kind of educational aspect as well to empower people to create their own workouts. This interface seems like it would be great for people wanting to build their own programs. It would absolutely beat the notebook-and-pen system which I’ve found is better than any of the other workout-building apps out there. Even if Future offered workout-building access with the requirement of working with a trainer for 3-6 months at the full price then dropping it down to those that don’t want to continue with a trainer, it would be better than what they do now, which is cut off all access to your previous workouts, knowledge base, and history once you stop shelling out dough.
This app could be truly great for people.
TLDR; The trainers are the best and AI won’t replace the personal attention you get but it’s just too expensive to be sustainable. I wish you could access the workout builder for personal use at a lower monthly price like $30-50 or something.
Kaya is amazing
This app did not help
$199 is too much money to be spending to not be heard.
I will not be returning to this app unless they give me a partial refund for the 6 months I spent having bs workouts. This app is a joke.
Longtime User
Perfect for those with a home gym, but in need of a little bit of guidance
What I needed!
Great coaching, meh app
However, the app is limiting. 2 simple examples: I had a shoulder injury- you cannot have different weight for right and left sided workouts, on runs there’s no cue to let you know when you’re at the 1/2 way mark, etc.
for top pricing of the virtual coaching, it would be nice if they’d invest in better IT support
