Great app, great features

Came across the introduction video to this app on another platform and bought the hybrid program. So much available in the app! Super intuitive layout and I can add/change exercises

App bugs out when adding custom exercise days

The app is otherwise fine, but when adding a custom workout, it carries over values from the previous workout, meaning you have to delete them all line by line.

Great all around

I bought the hybrid bodybuilding bundle and I absolutely love it. The programs are awesome and the app is very well thought out. Also, a shout out to their customer service for being on point helping me get things sorted out

App overall works okay

The exercises offered are different compared to other workout apps. I have two complaints, 1. It would be nice to have a a tone or indicator when the rest period ends. 2. My current plane is hybrid bodybuilding 4.0 phase 2. During the workout, the phone screen closes and I have to reopen the phone. This is annoying especially when doing timed cardio. This didn’t happen with phase 1.

Customer support nonexistent

Customer support is not answering my emails. I sent them emails asking if they have an update on my request and they didn’t even bother answering. App may be good but don’t expect customer support to help you.

Major bugs/design problems

The developers of this app have clearly opted to prioritize paying fitspo influencers for their programs over functionality and user friendly interfaces.

The first major issue I have is that no music or video app will consistently playback while this app is open. My music stops every 5-10 seconds while I’m lifting, and god forbid I have it still open when I try to throw on Netflix while doing LISS cardio. And before you suggest troubleshooting, I have tried every single thing I could find while scouring the internet.

The user interface is clunky. Nobody I have ever met logs reps THEN weight, especially with RPE/RIR based training. You pick a weight, then log the reps. The app needs to add warmup set functionality to be fully useful. One other thing: the fact that the requires so much wifi bandwidth is absolutely infuriating. Not every gym has WiFi, and if it takes 5 minutes to load or complete a workout, you’ve lost me.

Disappointed with this. Hope it gets fixed.

Support won’t reply

I contacted the support, but they just reply nothing even just want to change email address and login name. I will give 0 star if I can.

Very good

It's good app for all people who want improve yourself. Recommend!

It’s fantastic

It’s deep, challenging, worth every penny, worth your time. If you commit, it pays you back in spades.

Good app

i'm very insterested in

UI & UX are rough

I’m sure everyone who puts out content on this app are good at what they do. This app is a great catalogue and introduction to these coaches, but it’s frustrating to navigate through this system so I would rather buy their programs through other means than this app… for now.

Aggressive marketing

The app is fair. However, be prepared for aggressive in-app marketing to buy in deeper. I also can’t stop the flood of emails to upgrade the program I have already purchased.

Not another subscription

I was really looking forward to purchasing a membership, but I will not be unless the lifetime access is “back in stock.” With everything nowadays being on a subscription model, I was happy to hear that I can get a well liked fitness app for a one time higher price. Unfortunately it seems that this option has “sold out,” which means if you want to use this app, then it’s one more subscription to add. I really love the work that Eugene Teo puts out, and hope to see the lifetime membership come back, as if it does, I will be back as well.

Bait and switch

The app and programming is great, but couple years ago I bought a lifetime membership and now it asks me to pay for the pro account. Seems wrong

Basic features don’t work

I have two huge complaints with this app.
- it quite literally never registers when I finish a workout. Every single time I mark a workout as complete and then come back to the app the next day, it tells me that I have been in the previous workout for 30+ hours and it’s not finished. In the best case this is a minor annoyance. In the worst case the app errors out over and over as I try to complete the workout
- for paid workout plans, the set scheme isn’t filled in with the buttons. If it tells you two sets of 30 seconds, the markers showing each set don’t show up, you have to create them yourself and THEN mark them as done. For such a simple app, I found this inexcusable.
- finally, a small thing, needing to have my internet on to see the plan I already paid for is a nuisance

Wishes

I like parts of this but the interface is terrible, I can’t tell what I’m supposed to do in supersets and my intensity doesn’t get saved

Horrible customer service

The app is fine once you get the access you pay for. Customer service accepts your payment then doesn’t grant the paid access for 6 days then charged me $6 cancellation fee to remove the access they never even granted! Customer service only in off hours as they’re offshore.

Horrible UI

I cannot say enough bad things about the UI in this app. I really love the programs and coaches- but the UI is just a mess.
One of the worst “features” is that if you tap a little fast- I mean ANYTHING at any time, the support menu will interrupt you and pop up.

Top tier

I’ve been using this app for about three years and keep coming back to it because of its wide variety of programs and exercises that keep things interesting. I really appreciate how Eugene explains each movement in detail, which helps me perfect my form.

The leg program is especially effective—I’ve always had small legs, but I’ve seen real growth. Even the non-leg workouts include a solid leg component. Overall, I’m very happy with the app!
