Too Many Random Emails
Gmail is overall a really good app for getting my emails, especially since my school uses this a lot to send and receive emails. The thing I don’t really like is that there are too many promotions and irrelevant emails that are not recognized as spam or anything, so they crowd my inbox. It’s terribly annoying to have to go through and delete every single one, and either my phone does not have the select button, but I have to do it all one by one instead of altogether. I also end up missing important emails because of the random promotions that pop up and move all the other emails to the bottom. I have tried unsubscribing but it has done nothing, and there are way too many to be able to tell what is important. Other than that, there isn’t really anything bad about it.

Email don’t work again
Not sure what type of games you kids like to play. I need you to grow up get some nuts. And if you have a problem with someone pull them up don’t do it over the phone that’s week
Review
Plenty of emails for comics, food and movies. And the WNBA watch guide is really.
Shady Ad-click Tactics
When I swipe or delete an email, the app automatically clicks the ad below it. I tried multiple times, carefully swiping the email, or highlighting the email and clicking the delete button, but the app auto-clicks the ad below it. Shady way to generate ad revenue!
Why’d they change the layout
Update: it’s back to normal, yay!
My app updated and the layout is egregious. Why would they make it harder to read and flip through section. If they change it back I’ll take down my review

???? hey my iphone doesn’t have unlimited storage
hi pals at google (idk if you’re aware but) you’re updating this app almost everyday & each one takes 700MB+, almost 1GB worth of space!!! for an update!!! several times per week!!! are you actually insane or…… what are you even putting there???? please stop this nonsense
Folk

Infuriating lack of support.
A multi billion dollar company and they don’t provide a customer service option to interact with a human. I have a paid business account and for no reason that I can understand I’ve just stopped receiving emails. Now you might say that I haven’t paid my subscription (I have) or I missed a notification ( I can’t find any notification whatsoever to explain the situation). Try using the help links: well they just go to forum answers of hundreds or thousands of other frustrated users with equally frustrated people trying to figure out things themselves. How google has made as much money as they have with this kind of service blows my mind. How do I fix losing thousands of dollars in lost emails??? No idea. Honestly they can go an f themselves

Trying to open up my Gmail on my desktop send me a message to open the Gmail map on my iPhone and open it add tap. Yes on the prompt and there is no such of a prompt
Terrible Update
I have always enjoyed the Gmail app but this is a terrible update. The change in format for inbox and the lack on contrast between read and unread messages is practically indistinguishable. It’s so bad I’ve uninstalled Gmail and am using the mail app for Apple. Please fix asap!
Works like a charm
Gmail is a great email app to use as an adjunct to your other email accounts. Good filters and Spam protection. Like it a a lot. Nothing is better.

Great App
Rename colors
Great app, but please let us rename the colors for organizational purposes like other mail apps. It makes it easier to remember the colors when creating events on the calendar. “Work”, “Kids”, “Appointments” rather than the color names.
Looks bad
The new interface just overall looks bulky and doesn’t go well with night mode and I’m not a fan of all the blues. There’s no way to change the layout in the app and it sucks
Wow technobabble google
Mass technocracy and survellience geo engineering bioweapon Chemtrails and military ufo stalkers... nothing works imnout!
EGREGIOUSLY BLOATED app size rapidly approaching ONE GIGABYTE 🚨 🚨 🚨
701+ MEGABYTES (UPDATE: 743.1 MEGABYTES 🚨, 738.1 MEGABYTES, previously: 731.1… 716.7… the bloating does not stop)… for an email app!
The people getting paid to bloat and deploy this garbage are terribly negligent. Start over.

v6 is better than v5, but where’s long press?
2026 update:
Wow, looks like the overpaid designers at Google needed a pet project and made Gmail v6 UX worse again in July. What’s up with all the padding?
Original review:
History of the Gmail app on iOS: v4 was great, v5 was trash, v6 brings back a better multi-account experience allowing one to customize different notifications per account. However recently, long-press to copy links has stopped working on the iPhone SE. Hope this gets fixed soon!

All Star Champion
Justin B. was an absolutely outstanding All Star technician. We were so fortunate to have him assigned as our provider. Two days earlier we had two garage door systems installed. As it sometimes happens an error occurred in one of the new motors. All Star Garage Door immediately responded to our needs.
Justin arrived precisely on time as scheduled. He was professional, and personable and, most importantly, knowledgeable, insightful and skillful . Justin immediately diagnosed and corrected the issues. He then thoroughly checked the faulty system as well as the associated purchased operating system. Additionally, he assisted us with resetting the controls including those on myQ on our cell phones.
At the time, our granddaughters, who are heading to San Diego for the National District Softball Championships, had a lemonade stand set in the driveway to help earn money to defray some of their costs. Prior to leaving Justin returned to the children’s stand and made a generous contribution. I guess one can say: “ a Champion helping Champions All Stars!” What a great person, a skillful tech and great company!
