Technicalities
They refused to refund me because I had (stupidly) booked for the wrong day and “signed the rental agreement”. If you’re going to get me on technicalities within 2 hours of making the booking, and 24 hours before using it, I won’t be using your services.

Couldn’t recommend less. Had to move house, booked the van a month in advance. It wasn’t remotely in the area I had selected. Van was unlocked, no keys and was full of other people’s stuff. They told me it had wrongly been allocated to me and there were no other vans available. Awful service, don’t bother just go with traditional hire.

Not as hard as people make it out to be
No issues with the app, straightforward to use. Do what it asks for and worked fine.. used it a few times now.
Do not ever rent their car!
They rented me a car in terrible condition — the side mirror was broken, and the car was covered in scratches and dents. Later, they tried to charge me $1500, even though I never damaged the car. All the scratches were already there, but I didn’t manage to take photos as proof. They will do everything they can to scam you and use your money to fix their old car. Don’t rent from them. You will regret it!

Terrible service
Very fast to take my money and get my signature. Then took 30 minutes before I was even able to access the app to show me the location of the Van. Then when I got to the van, I can’t even access it because the App is buggy. Go with Orana, they were able to service me immediately.

Booked a large one 3 days ago for tomorrow , got a call today that we don’t have a large van available .
Either refund or $50 discount or pickup from Epping which is 1 hour drive from my house .

Awful setup the registered phone number and email both did not work very frustrating. Do not bother using this app

For goodness sake, please read the reviews. I don’t know why I ignored them…
I rented a truck for an exorbitant price and was moved around three times before picking it up. Then when I got there, the truck was unavailable and they wanted me to drive 1.5 hours to pick it up despite deadlines for my moving day. They wouldn’t reimburse me fully for the inconvenience and were absolutely shocking with customer service. DON’T USE THEM!! (I went with Orana - perfect experience and half the price)

Not sure why everyone’s crying
Literally did everything well, rented it out on time, got it back on time, charged $15 of fuel after my usage, got my bond back and I paid $500 for mine since I’m a P Plater and couldn’t go through Sixt. Had to take photos and everything. First time using a moving truck and had a great time. Dont listen to these cry babies.

Worst experience ever with a rental vehicle business.
I booked online through the app. Pretty straightforward.
Paid, as you do when you book.
1 hour before I was meant to collect the vehicle, a very nasty employee called me. Berated me that I couldn’t book with an interstate license, lectured me about the legality of it all.
I simply asked for an immediate refund and she had a melt down. Yelling, swearing and all kinds of filth.
They eventually refunded my money, 2 weeks later.
NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.
They should be closed down!

Upon booking they charged me immediately $150 + $200 security deposit - but they never comtacted me for a week to confirm the booking. When I finally emailed them, they called me and pretended they tried calling me for a week when there was no call history.
They then decided to change my booking to another location over 30 mins away - without warning, email or any comms.
This pathetic customer service person “Sue” then proceeded to argue with me saying I was wrong with an arrogant attitude and that is the best she can do and I have to accept it. She then said I will get charged if I cancel, almost threatening me to not cancel or face losing that charge.
Absolute audacity of this woman.
I decided to cancel anyway since they don’t deserve my business. It then took another week for the funds to actually clear, again without any comms of what’s happening. I had to prod their support.

Don’t use.
Unresponsive, throws errors messages and you end up having to call support everytune.

Just painful from start to finish - provided ID 3 times, app won’t take uploads, call centres overseas with little help, they changed van location to an industrial estate next to the airport surrounded by roadworks (access Rd is closed). Van in a poor state.

Wish zero stars was an option. Look at all the other reviews, there’s a reason for the constant 1 star ratings. Horrible customer service, awful company. Use anyone but these guys.

Listen to all the other reviews here. I used them the other day, only drove about 15kms total, put a few bucks fuel back in it and was charged over 75 dollars extra for fuelling? When I returned the vehicle it was parked on a hill and apparently the fuel gauge didn’t look as full.
Also when I got to it, the car wouldn’t unlock or lock with the app so I had to call the company multiple times to get it sorted.
The design of the app and emails are also clunky. Use another company is my suggestion.

Terrible App
If you hire a Gecko vehicle, you will be forced to use this App, but they don’t tell you that until a father you have booked and paid for the non-refundable vehicle hire.
Dreadful navigation in the App. Unnecessarily hard to use. A high school student could have made a better user interface.

Video yourself fuelling vehicle
Ensure you video yourself refuelling the vehicle, as well as obtain a receipt for refuel. A receipt alone is not enough if they determine the vehicle was not full. Based on what criteria? Remote pictures. So if your vehicles needle doesn’t hit the absolute max height, you must take a video of yourself refuelling and with audio to hear the click. You have been warned. I recommend other services where you have a human being to talk to at the time of pickup and return.

The delivery of the truck was delayed a bit, but otherwise had a problem free move, which costed me about 1/4 of what the removalists quoted me. The hydraulic lift is a godsend
