Do not do it reel you in just not contact you back until just before they will cancel and can’t offer you account.bait and switch or fraudulent service.
Poor Client Services
I don’t feel confident working with Grasshopper Bank. I initially contacted client services regarding an account error that needed correction, as well as a request for a bank letter. I was advised that the turnaround time would be approximately 24 hours, however it has now been 9 days without resolution.
Additionally, the representative I spoke with did not submit the ticket or send the email she offered, which required me to call back and repeat the entire process. Unfortunately, my follow-up interactions have consisted largely of scripted responses rather than meaningful updates or progress toward resolving a simple issue.

Easy banking. When I need to talk to someone I get through quickly. If I need anything, they show up. When I use the app, I know where to find what I am looking for.

Honestly not great
They won’t let you change your business address in their system even though the address needs to be.
They will decline charges out of nowhere and customer service times are limited.

Easiest bank app ever
Just what the title says. No problems thus far.
Dormant account fee
They charge you a formant account fee if you don't use the account and slowly eat the balance to zero. Screw you grasshopper.
Face ID
The app works well. But I keep enabling Face ID and it keeps disabling so I have to keep putting in my password. Annoying!
Great Bank Easy App
New to Grasshopper but they keep impressing… it’s been a very pleasant experience tween deposits, transfers and online banking!
Great for small businesses!
I’m a small business owner and didn’t want to pay a lot of money for incoming wires and outgoing wires and ACH transfers. Love that there isn’t a cost for incoming wires nor ACH and outgoing wires is only $10! Heads up though that bounced wires are $45 each time it bounced which I learned the hard way lol also love the dual approval feature! I can also add team members to have view access too

Ok but not great
Cons: Grasshopper is not connected to Zelle so that limits the way my clients can pay me. The app gives an error almost every time I open it that it cannot display all my account info. To fix it, I just have to tap the error notification and it goes away but it is really weird and annoying.
Pros: I like the high-ish interest rate for a basic checking account and transferring to and from other bank accounts and Venmo/PayPal is seamless.

Highly recommend Grasshopper Bank!
The app is clean and easy to use, all our business banking at our fingertips. Great customer service and pricing/fees!

Grasshopper offers a collection of features that not many other banks do. Automated book keeping through auto books integration, high yield checking account (1.5% currently) great customer service, invoicing, and lending options such as SBA. Unfortunately, the amount of time it takes deposited funds to clear is a bit lengthy (About a week). I also had a problem when initially applying where my application got “canceled in error” twice. Also, when transferring money from my personal bank account, I was notified in app that if I login to my personal bank with my credentials via plaid, I would have instant access to the transferred money. However, a transfer hold was still put on it and it won’t be available for a week.

The bank is exceptional, they have great customer service, an easy to navigate online dashboard, and great benefits & incentives for small businesses. Would be a 5 star review if not for the app, the app could use a facelift and better functionality.

Works fine but limited visibility.
Functional and generally does what I need it to do. The main complaint I have is that the description of the transactions is often obscure and limited making it difficult to identify what transactions are and who they’re for. More visibility into the merchant would be helpful.
Good enough
App is fine but jeez does it take a long time for some checks to clear. This is especially frustrating with connected accounts that I have transferred money from many times yet still takes a week or more to clear. Looking for other options given this long delay not being great for a small business.
Bait and switch marketing
Note that the cash back has a 10k$ balance requirement, which is not noted except in fine print. Go elsewhere for better benefits
Inconvenient + Slow
It’s one problem after another. Right now this apps review is not showing the text I am typing. Ridiculous and frustrating in both this and multiple banking issues
