Other than asking me to rate it every time I open the app serves its purpose. It’s a banking app. I am able to bank with it. Hoping with this I’ll stop being asked to review it.

This app does not function correctly. At times it won’t even function at all and I end up going to the site directly from my browser because it just doesn’t function.
Quick balance removed
The quick balance feature has apparently been removed. Settings within the app still reference it but I can’t use it.
App crash
App keeps crashing every time I try to log in. Tried deleting and redownloading the and it still happens.

I had to leave after ten years here because the fees kept getting worse and they had difficulty delivering my payments online. My car insurance company couldn’t receive the payment though my account clearly had funds. Very difficult to get help due to their limited hours and locations. Do some research and look up articles about credit unions profiting from overdraft and other fees before you join.

It’s all about the customer service! Everyone is kind, helpful, and treats us like human beings. My whole family banks with GB because they care - you can’t find that at the big banks. We’re lifers!

Great bank, worst banking app I’ve ever used
I’ve been trying to set up online banking for the last week. When trying to set up the ability to transfer between the credit union and an outside checking account, I need a verification code to initiate the transfer. Okay sure, whatever.
They don’t send it as a text. Instead they call, I answer, and receive a voicemail stating that they’re unable to leave me a code. Then the call ends.
Unimaginably frustrating. They’re great in person but the app is borderline useless.

Great bank
Needs Access to my Location 24/7 to “send me location based offers”?
That’s pretty disgusting and the app won’t let you use it at all without doing that. Highly recommend not using it since it’s now essentially spyware.

Great customer service and I was able to talk with a real person and fix an issue in minutes.

The app is always down and I can’t access my money, and at the most inopportune times too, like on weekends or after the credit union is closed; not to mention the credit union itself constantly and consistently having issues. I am not satisfied at all with this place. I’ve been very patient... 6+ years’ worth of time. I think I’m ready to change!

GBFCU is great!
In 30 years GBFCU has always been there for me and many other members. I thank them for all those years of support. I doubt I will have another 30 years with GBFCU, but I will give it the old college try and hopefully get close.
Huge improvement over the old app
The new app has support for iPhone X, face and Touch ID, check deposits actually work, and there’s even an app for Apple Watch.
