The update is awful
The latest update is frustrating for both passengers and drivers. And I hate that there is a maximum tip! When a driver gives me spectacular service, I want to be able to give them a good tip. I won’t be using the app anymore until these issues are fixed.

Yellow cab app and online booking is a great tool. The drivers are friendly and courteous. No issues whatsoever. Excellent service. Always on time
Bad service not surprised uber is killing the cab industry
Ordered a trip and watched the moron drive in circles, pull into the wrong lot and cancel my trip in minus 20 weather. There is a reason uber is killing your business. You have ONE job - know the addresses in the city. How the hell are you going to have drivers that don’t even understand street numbers?

Can’t tip??
Pick up and trip was smooth but it would not allow me to add a tip at the end saying payment could not go through regardless of payment method use. No option to go back into to the app later to tip either. Unfortunate glitch when the driver was great
Glitchy and won’t work
The app constantly logs me out and gets stuck on the screen where you input your phone number. Its also impossible to contact your driver

Absolute garbage
I have so many issues with this app, it thinks my name is Dan osvault and I can’t change it, it can’t find basic addresses and even though I have enough money in my account it says I have insufficient funds.
Meh
Like that the app gives a flat rate for trips and don’t have the uncertainty of how much it will cost because of unforeseen traffic conditions. Convenient instead of calling.
The only issue I really seem to have is that the driver arrival time is never accurate. Sometimes it says 1minute and it takes 10. Sometimes it says 5 minutes and it’s 30 seconds. Sometimes the time for arrival never updates at all and this is all when I’m in a good cellular reception area or with strong wi-fi connection

Driver doesn’t use app
I’m in cab 132, and the driver says he doesn’t use the app. What’s the point of having an app if the drivers don’t use it. Total garbage.
Fare Change
I’m a fan of the app, one thing in particular is the fixed rates that are given when I book a taxi through the app. Recently, There has been a change where the fixed rate is back to a fare. It’s very annoying especially when the drivers are very slow sometimes. Hoping it goes back to a fixed rate as paying an extra 4 dollars for a trip that would have been 14$ gets pricey. Other then that I have no complaints.

Ditch Uber ASAP!
With the Yellow Cab app, there's absolutely no excuse to be using Uber in Edmonton. The app is intuitive and convenient, and the service is prompt and efficient. Hire real people (at Yellow Cab) who do a great job instead of a company (Uber) that's intent on ditching its workforce as fast as possible.

We’re sorry something went wrong
It’s been months! I remove and then reinstall the app and still I get the same error message. I feel so violated. I need flat rate taxis. Life is bleak. There is no sunshine.
Booking ahead works pretty well
Easy to use app.
Booked a cab night before my flight day.
And cab was on time sharp, keep giving me notifications about when cab was on the way, soon arriving, and when it arrived to my place.
Price was also not too bad. Definitely would use again.
