This is the worse prepaid card I have ever had. The customer service is horrible and nobody will help you. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Green dot you need to fix your app!! It needs updated the but when I come to my App Store there is no update! Now it is so hard for me to login in why do y’all have this much issues? Any other account I have been with never had this much problems… I will definitely be changing to cashapp… unless you fix your problems

Money hungry
I genuinely just wanted a gift card, and it went ahead and took $7 out of my account for a “fee”. I put a specific amount of money on that card so I could purchase something, and now I can’t. Genuinely the most stupid thing ever.

I’ve had this app for 15 years. Never had a problem with it. If you lose your card, you can still access your money with your app after you report it lost. Cash back!

It refuses to log in. It is very frustrating!!! It must be against me. I have been a good customer to you. If you keep me from logging in I am done with you Green Dots.
Update problem
Every time I open this app, it says it needs an update. There is no update available. Can we get this fixed?
Update app
Take $29.69 for keyboards, cd and movie. It is staying one star until you take the money. It shouldn’t take four days to take money. Also update your app seeing it freezes on iOS 26.5.1.
Locked out of account when I needed money
Hadn’t checked my app for a while. Was getting ready to get my tax return when the app asked me for authentication. I entered in the code it sent me and after a SINGLE (one) “failed” attempt it locked me out completely.
Had to go through one of the worst phone trees to get someone to help. I got a ticket number but they never sent a reset email.
Months later I still can’t get in. Can’t seem to navigate the worst phone tree to get ahold of a person anymore and now you’re telling me I suddenly owe you $65 AFTER I was locked out?
NO.
The ineptitude of this company is second to none and they will leave you high and dry at the worst possible time.
Developers if reading this - I don’t want your apologies, your tears, your SORWWY uwuwuw… all that means nothing. You’ve taken time and money away from real people so either fix it or go underground.

I had signed up for green dot and they sent me a card, activated it but long story short I lost access to my old phone and email and then green dot was unable to let me back on my account…

I put in my right password and id ant it keeps telling me it wrong and it not.
Wont let me login
I login to the app and then it says to log in to the website to access the account and i go to the website to check my pin and it says go back to app. The card is useless.

Bought a green dot card and won’t even let me activate it or get a refund %100 do not recommend
Will not let me log in
I have tried reloading the app multiple times and it still will not let me log in. I can hit activate card or set up acct and it takes me to that screen but when I hit log in it does nothing. Been having to go to the physical website to add money to my card. Useless. Get it together!!!

Wouldn’t suggest an account with them
I had transferred money to my green dot account that was intended to be for another debit card, but I had set it as the default transfer method. Long story short, I closed my account bc the fees are extremely high on here, and I found out you cannot transfer money from your green dot card to another institution. Very avoidable situation and the support is very dodgy. Still haven’t got my money and it’s been over a year lol.

App makes you login through website. Website on mobile has no features. Just bank balance. Not even a chat bot option. Update your systems, you’re playing with my money

literally doesn’t work. any option selected pulls up a prompt to use a different device. still won’t work on any other device. same issue.
