Major issue with reviews

I'm upset at Gumtree for not handling fake 1-star reviews properly. Nasty time wasters have been allowed to leave 1 star reviews for ages even though no transaction or no sale has happened! They're doing this out of spite because I am selling an item for £35 and they asked for £15, I offered £20 which is a nearly 50% discount price reduction but these time wasters kept asking for £15 which I wasn't ready to agree with. As revenge, they were allowed by Gumtree to leave 1 star reviews pretending a local sale had happened. After a few messages have been exchanged, the Gumtree app allows random time wasters to leave negative 1-star reviews even though a sale never happened. This needs to change as it's cyber bullying and now my rating is 4.3 out of 5 because of those fake reviews.
