Online check-in doesn’t
Basic features like online checkin don’t work. I think the app is designed to route you to the website

Can't manage booking. Can't contact them. They keep changing the aircraft and unassigned my seat and I can't select it again. Can't check in online and need to go to the counter. Basically their whole website and app don't work. Impossible that this is a real "5 star" airline

Poorly developed app
Great airline, customer service, airline staff. Horrible, horrible app. The only reason we’ve contacted customer support is because the app has failed to do basic tasks, like checking in. What a great way to destroy your brand’s reputation.

Don’t understand why Hainan Airlines has done so bad jobs to their international customers.

Can’t create an account, can’t view my booking. Nothing. In addition to this, I fully regret booking with Hainan and never will again after my upcoming flight. Zero customer service, cannot contact them by email or phone. No answer from either. My flight has been changed several times. Aircraft change, seat change, second leg of flight cancelled, seat change again. What is wrong with this airline. Never had this issue with anyone else. Get a grip!

Can’t get past the first page and find my booking. Some Chinese characters even in English setting. Needs a lot of work to make this a useable app
