The improvements that Hancock Whittney Bank has made such a difference. Everything is easily found. I like the charts in the graphs. The improvements are fantastic. I also appreciate the safety measures.

The new app much easier to navigate
Different
In the beginning of the change I didn’t like the app but I kept telling myself that is not bad just different. As I have told make employees in the past about mergers that it is not wrong or right just different. Now that I am getting more familiar with it I am enjoying it more.

I think the new application is much friendlier than the old one. It is so much easier to use. I think they did a fine job integrating everything together, it feels so much smoother.
Incredible improvement
I’ve banked with HW for years and am loyal. The only complaint I’ve had is the ability to manage money with mobile tech. The update to the app is impressive. Finally feel like I bank with a company that utilizes new technology

It’s always down
It seems like the app is always down when I most need it. The description should read “24 hour mobile banking sometimes”. I was hoping they would have gotten their act together with the new app but it seems to be down more than the original.
Regression from previous app
Hancock Whitney’s app history is unimpressive. The old app was pretty basic, but at least it loaded promptly. The bank launched a new app in 2025 and it was riddled with bugs, so they took it down, reverted to the old app, and even called some customers to apologize. They relaunched this new app in 2026 and it’s much worse than the old app. It takes a while to load account data and sometimes crashes. It occasionally with open my account view but say it doesn’t sync. Imagine my frustration when all I want to do is quickly log in and see my balance. It may drive me to finally close this account and consolidate at another bank I use with better technology.

This app is absolute trash!! it is constantly disconnecting from external accounts and even disconnecting from Hancock Whitney so I can't use it for anything!! you guys need to get some new developers!! good idea extremely poorly executed!!
