Good veggies but bad design

Quality is good but app design is very bad which keeps changing every few days. They want you to solve puzzles around midnight while ordering veggies. Not for everyday users. On top of that, their customer care straight up lie to you with old photos, they make you rethink if you are hallucinating about not receiving your order timely. They make you check your doorstep five times and still deny that order is not delivered. They have this clever option to select your time slot, which looks like a good idea for late risers, but once you have selected it, they will change the location of that button so that you can never change it back to early delivery.

If you have energy to argue with customer care first thing in the morning, go for handpickd.

Excellent Quality is what they deliver

Handpicked offers fruits vegetables and selected items in dairy. They pick amazing items and deliver with perfection. Door step delivery right in the morning. Items and meat and clean unlike other deliver platforms. Quality of items - 5 star
Delivery time - 5 star
Delivery quality - 5 star
Price - 4 star (I think it’s a bit expensive than other platforms). Personally I am fine coz of the quality I am getting.

Company offers are a scam

They usually provide some offers on the cart value. But when you select them they don’t get added to the final cart , and they don’t deliver it to you.
When asked customer care, they simply tell you that you didn’t selected any offer.
In same case I showed him by adding few items and selecting the offer, showed him that the offer item isn’t reflecting in the cart. The executive told me that I can’t see it in the cart but the backend team has the offer item in the cart. Wow.. what a funny thing. Anyway, handpicked was good in early starting days but now they have started cheating/ scamming people in the name of offers .

Bad

So the thing happened, is, I downloaded the app and then started looking for how does this work and things like that I didn’t buy anything, but I have wish list of some of the items from there like I have added in the cart certainly next day, somebody called me and asked me where do I stay and if the things are deliverable there, so I told them that I stay in this area. This is my address and this is like this and they called me. They said, is it a society or independent house independent building so I told him no, it’s not a society. So they said I’m sorry, mam we are kindly deliverying to only societies and we are not delivering in independent house so that’s why it’s feel so rude like why ?? because whoever orders he has to pay right ? so it should only be a concerned for money for them. I don’t think it should matter where they are delivering. It should be a prestigious society or should be somebody’s house or somebody’s rented property.

Amazing app

Unprofessionalism at its peak

Ordered the veggies in 7:30 slot, obviously earlier because I won’t be available post that. Firstly, didn’t receive the order at that slot it was delayed.
Secondly, the delivery agent placed the order, took a pick and took the order back with him. That’s really unprofessional, and post that I had to argue with the customer service team who first of all take years to reply and then eventually after wasting my time I got a refund. But no accountability of veggies.

They are just good for the first few orders to attract the customer, post that they are just a regular scamming people who doesn’t care about the customer.

Poor Quality and Service

This was my first and last order.
Despite selecting large-sized tomatoes, I received the smallest ones. Instead of onions, I was sent potatoes, and the coriander leaves were already yellow and unusable. While I appreciate the effort put into presentation spreading 1 kg of tomatoes neatly in a box the actual quality was extremely disappointing.
The refund for the missing onions was processed into the Handpickd wallet, even though I had specifically requested it be returned to my original payment method.
You can keep the ₹113 in the wallet, I won’t be using it. I won’t be ordering again, and I definitely won’t be recommending this service to anyone.

Fraud Team Management

The first ever experience was a disaster. The order never came. The AI assistance was completely helpless it kept on promising extended timeline of delivery. Later the team also stated the item will be delivered. But after waiting for 6 hours and multiple follow ups they canceled the order and the app stated address not found. Later they do not want it refund the amount in my original payment mode. When I requested multiple times, they agreed to refund but after 7-8 working days. But I have no trust on them. As the entire support system is fake. They behave like scam stars. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE AVOID THIS APP. Better use the other reputed platforms.

Misleading, frustrating, and a complete waste of time!

I was genuinely excited to try the app—they market themselves as delivering fresh farm vegetables directly to your doorstep. Everything looked smooth at first. The app accepted my location, allowed me to add items to cart, and even prompted me to load money into their wallet. I added ₹2000 without any issues.

Here’s where things went downhill.

The next morning, I received multiple calls asking for my address - information that was already clearly provided in the app. After all that, I was told they do not service my area.

This makes absolutely no sense. If my location isn’t serviceable, why did the app:
• Allow me to create an account?
• Accept my address?
• Let me load money into the wallet?

That’s not just poor design; it’s misleading.

To make things worse, the app claims that wallet funds can be withdrawn “anytime.” That is simply not true. There is no direct withdrawal option in the app. I had to contact customer support, and instead of resolving the issue, I was met with unnecessary questions and delays.

After a lot of back-and-forth, I was told the refund would take 7–10 days.

So let me get this straight:
• You take money instantly
• Fail to provide service
• Then delay returning the money

Completely unacceptable.

This experience feels unprofessional and poorly managed. Until they fix their serviceability checks, wallet system, and customer support, I strongly recommend avoiding this app.

Worst experience ever

I generally don’t write any reviews but this is the worst start up ever
They had taken my order and it was not delivered they kept on saying it’s on the way, will be delivered in 30 minutes and after 6 hours they said because of society entry issue your order is cancelled and when I asked them no one called or I didn’t get any request on NBH app they said because of our silent policy we don’t call our customer or ring the bell😂
This is the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard, they are a delivering app and they don’t call or ring the bell so how is it supposed to deliver pigeons will drop it to balcony.
I will be making sure that I will tell about thi experience to all
My friends and I owns so they don’t waste their energy in such stupid delivery app

Right app wrong usage

The app gives you convenience to choose the right quantity and it shows the amount varying as per the weight! But very easily handpicked is using it irresponsibly, they are giving exceeding weight and exceeding the price for the same ! Infact on checking the weight for paneer it was given less and they had charged high on that ! So I would recommend all to better start checking the weight, of what has been delivered to you ! Although quality wise everything is perfect , what what they are practising is wrong ! If the weight is exceeding kindly don’t charge people more , you are finding it as a convenience at your end , so that at your end your people doesn’t do the hard work and you can use people’s money for you easily .

Good quality fruits & veggies- WhatsApp & customer care need improvement

1) Started using Handpicked for about 2 months back. Some items costly, some are very economical. Delivery on time. Rates are acceptable.
2) Customer-Care is very poor. We keep on writing messages. Immediately read tick appears. But no response ever received. Seems read tick appears automatically - only one side communication i.e. advertising of the Handpicked.
3) Offers are great, but due to nil response, we get doubts whether offer will be applied to all. Received a card saying add Rs 4000/- to wallet- cashback of Rs 1000/- & 20% discount. Being a new online startup, was doubtful. Somehow contacted Handpicked, was told offer is not for me. Guess it was for another family staying at ground floor , whose first time free gift was delivered to us by mistake. Thinking it was free gift we used it. He kept on telephoning about non receipt of free gift. Our first time free gift was twice delivered to wrong address.

They are yet to get their act together

Samples sent correctly and good quality. Then My first order was handled poorly . First instance items added was not delivered next day - contacted support and they failed to even trace there were items added to cart. Since I had loaded wallet, added again for subsequent day . Contacted support to ensure they will handle and deliver . They confirmed and sent a message . Now Delivery time before 9 am was chosen slot . 1/2 of the things came at 10 am after escalation and 1/2 of the items yet to reach. Some of the items look like picked on the way . I would recommend stay away.

Order issues

Even if are checking products, there is cursor instead of tap for quantity, even if it is touched by mistake and there is no money in wallet, it is delivered with negative balance. I was checking the functions, cursor for bathua reached to maximum, I got 9-10 packs of it with negative balance. There should be display on screen of order product numbers in cart on top of screen along with wallet balance. No order should be added if no or less balance. There should be re confirmation, prior to addition in cart.

Incessant Calling

Handpickd does offer good-quality fruits and vegetables, but be very cautious about sharing your phone number. Even after repeatedly assuring me that I was on their Do Not Call list and would not receive further calls, they continued to contact me, CONSTANTLY. I received back-to-back calls at all hours, and their customer service representatives showed little concern when I reminded them I had opted out. It seems they are determined to obtain feedback about the free basket they provide, regardless of your preferences.

Overall, the produce may be good, but the relentless and intrusive calling makes the experience extremely frustrating.

Poor support and service

The trial order was not even delivered and the following day the order was delivered automatically, the delivery person and the support person have lot of disconnects. The delivery person told its part of trial order, after which we took inside one piece if custard apple. Next day onwards different delivery guy came asking for Rs 50 for that delivered order, even after explaining to each of them none of them took the custard apple back nor the money stating they would check with the owner. on the fourth day again someone came to ask for Rs 50 and I gave it. Unfortunately still getting calls to pay Rs 50 and in the app it still shows not paid. No option to raise a complaint
