App not loading
Continuous problems with the app despite on updating the app with every update. Takes multiples times opening the app before I can finally get in. The first few times it’s just a black screen with the spinning circle. Sometimes the accounts load, but the spinning circle persists not being to do anything with the app. I have to completely close out of the app a few times and keep trying before it can finally load. Sometimes I have to jump on to a browser or laptop to get into my acct when the app isn’t working.

The new update sucks. It asks me to log in twice then doesn’t load the Home Screen half the time. Whether I’m connected to wifi or not. It works 25% of the time. PLEASE FIX THE DAMN THING.

The app itself is still amazing but now the Face ID is doing a double login thing it’s especially annoying since when you 1st try to login it takes forever or won’t load as quick so you have to close it and resubmit the Face ID

Clunky
This app is so bad. Good luck adding your bank account, it won’t actually get verified no matter how many times you try. It will freeze, try to log you in multiple times and error out, or time out due to inactivity when you’re waiting for the app to respond.

So I’ll preface that my rating would be 5/5, I’ve been a member of HAPO for almost a decade now, their service and app have always been great. With that said for the last 3 or so weeks the app has been utter garbage after a maintenance period that occurred. Since then I have to open the app 3-4 times for it to load properly to be able to see my balance or interact with the interface at all. There are sometimes where it can take upwards of 5 minutes to get the app to fully load properly to be able to do the business I need to do. So with that said my current rating of the HAPO app is 2/5 stars until this issue is fixed. My phone is up to date, so is the app, and my phone is last years model. There’s no reason it should be this difficult to access my funds. Once this is resolved I will restore my 5/5 review.

Terrible now
This app used to be great but takes forever to load. I have to keep closing it and logging back in to try and view my accounts. Do better.
Good when it works.
As of 7/29/26 I’ve had significant problems with the app loading and/or allowing you to selection functions within the app.
