Good, but could be better

Needs to be functional with Apple CarPlay. Many head units are now Apple CarPlay compatible this would increase safety for all riders.

Force update

Stop forcing me to update the app as the newer version won’t install on my iPhone 7.

Community.

When I first got the app it had a community to where you could meet other riders and now it’s gone. Not sure why but you guys should bring that back.

Still has bugs!

After your update, I believe there still may be a few bugs.
I have a notification that there is unread mail but when I go to it, there is no mail at all… even the mail that I have read that used to be there.

One star is too much

I ride a Pan America and wanted to like this app, but it's one of the weakest parts of the Harley-Davidson experience.

The app crashes regularly, often immediately after opening. It also appears to receive very little support or optimization for newer iPhones. If you're using an iPhone 16 or even some older devices, don't expect a reliable experience.

Navigation is where things really fall apart. There's no meaningful integration with Google Maps or Apple Maps, so you don't get real-time traffic information. The routing is painfully slow, and if you miss an exit, it can take forever to recalculate and provide an alternate route.

The whole thing feels like an app that was built years ago and then largely abandoned. The motorcycle itself is fantastic, but the software experience is far behind what BMW, Honda, and other manufacturers offer today.

If smartphone connectivity and navigation are important factors in your buying decision, I'd strongly recommend looking at BMW or Honda before choosing a Harley based on its tech ecosystem.

Harley builds great motorcycles. Unfortunately, the app doesn't reflect the same level of quality.

HD App

The app doesn’t support Apple Car Play and the built in navigation isn’t good. If you build a route and need to change it for any reason it app doesn’t automatically adjust like other navigation would

busted navigation

Navigation doesn’t work on this app, needs update, tested with Nightster S 2024.

Trouble with App

Loved app when I downloaded it but then it just quit working at keeps asking for my bike info and my local Harley. I then input the info and it says error so now I don’t have access to anything including my points. Super annoying and frustrating

Must Have

Now with all the modern technology on the bikes this app is a must have. I could not imagine not having it. Just make sure you link it up with your HOG membership. You can plan rides, record them, post them, find local events.

No more feed 👎

The feed was the best feature of this app and now it is gone . I hardly go on this app anymore, in fact the only thing I go on this app now is to check to see if they replaced it with something else . I think they kept that woke weirdo CEO to make more stupid decisions like removing the feed .

Lacking

Why does it have to be so glitchy? I can stand in a dealership and get the wheel of death trying log in. My home dealership doesn’t participate in the points added in the app so it would be great if I could transfer the app points to my HD credit card to use them since adding the credit card points to the app are useless for me. All of the HD apps are just so basic. I just think this app could do so much more for the users!

Great Bike

The best motorcycle I have ever owned….the ride the look is amazing….

Original

Ridding for myself

Still not useful

Why can’t we still simply open a map, drop some pins and create a route? I cant even drop pins. Maybe it’s me, but if the app is that complicated it’s useless. I’ll just map something out in Google Maps and use Apple car play.

Not for riders

I want to ride, not mess with an app to get points. Trying to program a route on the fly for poker runs is a waste of time. I have to check every stop to make sure it is still recording the ride. I’ve gone hundreds of miles when I thought it was recording only to find out it stopped at the beginning. It advertises to get 100 points for a new dealership check in, but several dealerships I’ve visited aren’t part of that program. Not to mention, you have to remember to pull your phone out and check in while you’re there. This is not a rider friendly app.

App sucks

App sucks

Downloading rides to the bike still poor

The app is getting better however we use the app a lot to download rides to our bikes as road captains in our HOG group. Most of the time it says ride queued but doesn’t actually send it, even though the phone is connected to the bike and CarPlay or music can play. It ends up working eventually after shutting off the bike and disconnecting/reconnecting the phone.

no support for older bikes

would be nice to be able to add my bikes that are older than 1984. I can add them on the website for Ride for Heroes challenge so I know the database is there, but my shovels are not supported in the app.

Needs ios 17 now erased

Thanks for trying to force me to buy a new phone - no thanks.

Junk

I can’t for the life of me figure out why HD would put there stamp of approval on this. It absolutely sucks. Navigation is pitiful. It won’t sync to the bike display, or should I say it will when it feels like it. Same with recording rides. If I try and record a ride, it may or may not. But I can ride 10 miles to work and it will inform me that I have unsaved rides? I have downloaded the maps. I tried to send a ride to the bike. That was an exercise in futility. I’m just going to bite the bullet and get a dedicated GPS.
