The New app is the worst
The New app is the worst, everything about this app sucks, secondly what is the point of asking for my location every time? It won’t allow me to login to my account with turning location services on first. What nonsense.
Best And the only international standard app

Hangs and can’t view accurate credit card statement.
The old app was better. This one gets stuck frequently and the credit card view is useless. The old app gave you full transaction details on credit card usage. This app does not show transactions, just totals, which is useless to me.
Deficiency in HBL app
There is no option available to pay bill for Credit Card / Other bank credit card. In previous version the same facility was available
Nightmare to recover password
Beware if you change your phone and you forget your password, you’ll never get your app working again whatever you do. It’s been a week I’ve done everything calling helpline was just wasting time they would never guide you properly and if you visit branch they will keep on insisting to call helpline they cannot do anything so basically I’m stuck I cannot use this app again gone forever.

New Version of App Doesn’t Work
I don’t know what the people at HBL are doing nor understand why they can’t seem to recruit a decent IT Team….
This new version doesn’t work for RDA Customers, you can’t purchase NPC (Neya Pakistan Certificates) nor can you transfer money to your overseas bank via the app.
My RDA Manager asked me to fill out forms for both - I don’t understand what part of “DIGITAL” in RDA (Roshan “Digital” Account) HBL don’t seem to understand in this day and age
A digital bank in the UK or any other western country, gives you virtual debit cards in seconds via their apps but in Pakistan they are still pushing pen & paper, and this is supposed to be Pakistans largest bank lol……

HORRIBLE NEW UI UPDATE. SLOW APP
Why fix something if it’s not broke? The new UI is slow, logging in takes more time (also, why am I getting how to login add before login??) it looks like a cheap NBP app knockoff

Payonerr not working (again!!!)
With the new update , payoneer login is not working. You login, fill out everything and it says you have successfully connect with hbl and then it take u to some web and tell you to get the app of playstore or appstore, you go back and boom it will ask for login again and the cycle continues

Zero privacy
Unfortunately, banking is great but has no privacy. Why is it important to get location information while banking? I don’t turn on the location services ever but for and this is violation of my privacy
Pathetic App
Not sure how this app was rolled out without proper testing. It looks like the backend API isn’t properly integrated. I can’t transfer funds to my CDC account, yet every attempt results in the amount being deducted. It’s unbelievable that such a

Doesn’t work after update
I was forced to update the app and now it is stuck at an empty link/delink screen without any choices.
After update lost all settings and unable to login account linking delinking issue
Unable to login after recent update, after id password it shows a dialog box saying confirm accounts linking delinking, but doesn’t show any accounts to be linked or delinked and doesn’t have any option to go to next screen
Can’t use after the update
I only have a credit card with hbl and no account. App keeps asking me to select an account to link to my app after the update and I can’t bypass that step to use the app anymore. No way around it.

New Update is not working
Please note that I have updated your new app version today on 7-7-2026. But unfortunately it is not working even login is very difficult as screen is frozen. I am helpless and can’t do my daily banking from app. Please resolve this issue at your earliest so that I can do transactions easily.
