nothing makes me more upset than when a previously free app has an overhaul and puts every previous feature behind a paid membership. if you had this app back in the good days, don't bother to get it again. no more free daily meditations and even the videos that definitely existed back then are now behind a paywall.

Everything is behind a paywall, don’t bother.
Why offer a student discount if you can’t even subscribe to it?
2019 it was free loved it only used sleep cast though. Now you have to pay for every single thing. If I could pay for what I use or maybe had tiers I’d come back but it’s not worth it to me especially if I only use 1 section of the whole app…
I LOVE Headspace! It has really helped me with my anxiety issues. However when I logged back in, they told me that I had to buy a subscription. Everything was locked. I enjoy the app but I was a little disappointed when the subscription came up. Dear Headspace Team, your app is wonderful, but it would be better if you lowered the price down a bit on the subscription, because I don’t can’t afford to pay that much to use the app.

don’t like the ai
You pick your meditation or bedtime story, time is set for 45 mins for some, for others you can choose the length. I find for almost everything, the speaking stops after 10-20 minutes and you have dead air. No music, no background noise, nothing. Don’t waste your money- there’s better and cheaper out there (Petit Bamboo) and it’s free!

Got rid of free subscription for educators in UK
This is a top notch app and Sleepcasts have truly added value to my nighttime routine. If I may add a suggestion: I usually have a hard time falling asleep which results in me having to play 2-3 Sleepcasts a night. I would love a feature to be able to queue up episodes to play after one another so I don’t have to get up and start another one every time one ends. Thank you so much for Headspace!! :)

I’ve been using this app for 7 years and it used to be great. Then the founder Andy Puddicombe left and things started to gradually go downhill. His content can still be found and is the most valuable content on there. However, the app started getting very cluttered, and it’s become difficult to find what you want. They regularly change the interface so you’re constantly playing catchup. It’s also quite buggy and will crashes or glitches often. Also, they started introducing more political stuff in the last few years which I don’t think belongs on a meditation app. I’ve also been overcharged a couple of times which is frustrating, and it takes a while for customer service to do anything about it. It’s a shame it’s gone so far downhill.

$70 to use a meditation app that should be free. Not worth it
Im sorry but this app is useless without paying - I genuinely can’t access anything except a mood tracker for not paying £10 a month which is so disappointing actually because this app seemed really helpful.
why do i have to pay for everything like even 3 min videos.. like yeah let me get pass this paywall rq while im actively having an anxiety attack…. Why do u hate poor ppl
The app is unusable with a subscription.
I want to use this app at work or where my stress is highest. This app is unusable for me off WiFi. It’s way over designed with cutesy Corporate Memphis graphics and HD videos of their coaches saying things like “You know, that is a great question” for minutes before giving 20 seconds of tips, that could have been done just as well with a much lighter audio file. On 5G it takes me forever to load content and then errors out anyway. It’s sad because the concept is good but I’m paying $12.99 a month and effectively getting nothing for it. Maybe add a data saver option?

It is kind of ironic that I try and use the app to unwind mentally, yet it is so irritating to use. Upon opening the app it tells me to “breathe in, breathe out,” then proceeds to aggravate me by refusing to let me log in. For two weeks now I have not been able to log in. I have made contact via email numerous times with no response.

i’ve used this app (almost) daily for years and i’m disappointed in the direction the company is going. the longtime users of this app value it for it’s meditation and mindfulness focus. I don’t need or want a broader “health and wellness” app. i’ve subscribed for years, i’m looking around for a different option

Stays on the opening screen for 10 + minutes and never goes past it…
The way the app is set up is so disorganized and difficult to use/navigate. Seems like random categories with no context. Why is a meditation called “new beginning” about a new school year? Anyway anytime I’m in the mood to meditate I just use YouTube nowadays or another app that I’ve started to use
