Version 3.1 Does Not Allow User To Log Food

When I opened the app, it said I had to install version 3.1 or the app would not open. When version 3.1 was installed, the app would not allow me to log food at all. The includes not allowing me to select food from any of my stored meals and it would not allow me to select from anything that I search. Technical support were absolutely useless. They just said they didn’t know when this issue will get resolved.

Optimize Nothing

Very disappointed in this app. Login page constantly changes. Sometimes it’s a password. Sometimes it’s Face ID. WTH is going on with these developers and the UX decisions? Furthermore, the app does not sync properly and often just spins unless the user intervenes in the process. Also, the “helpful” information in the content is sophomoric and of low value. Most of it seems to be written by AI or assisted with it. Also, there’s no delineation between which notifications are mandatory responses and which are just superfluous “time to plan your menu” rubbish messages. It’s all just a scheme to make it more difficult to get the medicine that your doctor prescribed. Weak app tech, weak design and paltry execution of useful information and content. I’m weary of this app and its mandatory use and forced responses to meaningless messages.

Updates

There are constant updates that do not improve app performance. I find they make my tracking and data entry more cumbersome. My bp monitor is no longer supported by this app even though it is issued by and mandated by my insurance. I am still unhappy after almost 2 years with this app as a mandated use. App updates should improve the user’s experience, not constantly make it worse.

Slowness on Food Log

With the latest update v3.1, logging food UI has simplified, but performance tanked! Phone goes to sleep before the “please wait” screen completes. I end up force closing the app and relaunching to check if it logged.

Also, the Logbook no longer lists food, so not sure how you get back to view without selecting the +Enter like you were going to log new.

Each Update is worse

Originally it wasn’t elegant bit perfectly functional. Over the last two updates it’s become almost unusable. It hangs. Searching for food is flakey. If you enter food by mistake (because it’s flakey) you can’t remove it.
The app is trash now.
