Single parent savior
Thank you. I can’t miss work being a single parent and this platform has helped me tremendously for both myself and my daughter. We have HMSA quest and I hope that doesn’t change for quest members. The Doctors are really helping and thorough. Thank you!

I’ve used HMSA Online Care twice and both Dr.s were very nice and helpful! I appreciate the convince of this app especially when you don’t feel good and the last thing you want to do is try get an appointment last minute or you have to wait a long time in waiting room
Worked for me!
I had to wait for a doctor that was licensed in California to able to prescribe, 3 doctors later I Dr. Fish was efficient and friendly. The whole experience beats sitting in a waiting room.
On line therapist
I believe it’s so important to stay in contact and have access to mental health issues as well as medical issues. It expedites the healing process as well as supports the patient to take care of themselves,so I thank you .

There were quite a few incidents where I was blacked out and then reconnected. I have 250mbs

Lots of room for improvement
The site is a great tool to have but it is buggy and slow. I’ve had loads of problems connecting with providers that eats into my appointment time. It would also be nice if there was a way to differentiate is a provider strictly uses this for their regular patients or if they’re actually available and accepting new patients. It should say something if they’re listed as AVAILABLE but then it just never gets to them because they’re with another patient. Such a waste of time to find they’re not accepting new patients too. Maybe have a separate module for those that use this for their regular patients and a separate module or filter if they’re actually available to have a visit with you now….

Super friendly doctors
Very bad programming.
Three of my last four therapy sessions did not function properly. The first two were cancelled and I went without. The third was fine. The fourth had video problems. We ended up only talking and hearing each other, like a phone call. And this was after a long delay connecting. A phone call would have been better.
After the session, the portal asked me to rate it. I gave it the bottom score. It then went around and around in circles again. I had to write this report by logging into the App. Store myself, and not let the portal handle things.
When I contacted Amwell, the company that creates the HMSA Online Care portal, they claimed everything was fine.
When Amwell asked me to rate their Support, I asked them which one? I spoke to two people. One good, one bad. Amwell does not answer replies nor explain things well when asking in the first place. But they are good at sending emails asking for the same thing over and over. Artificial Intelligence Harassment aka junk e-mail.
